Hell yeah blade hands is awesome! These yaks are going down like reeds! :D
I should probably go pick up that amulet of rage I left in the temple when I found these randart gloves that give the ability.

I don't really have the carrying capacity to lug the corpses around, but it's good to know that when I CAN wait, I should.

EDIT: And now I found one of them minibeehives. Do you think I can take them out with my ring of poison resistance, bottles of poison and blade hands? My guess would be yes, but I've never fought a queen bee before.

If you kill yaks easily and have poison resistance, you can take unlimited numbers of bees.

Also, ALWAYS wait for the corpses to rot, especially stronger corpses. Even edible corpses can give confusion when rotted, and a strong rotted poison corpse can provide greater poison potions. Especially useful for kobold rooms with big kobolds.

Not to mention that if in the meanwhile you go hungry you can eat the corpses, this way.

Quick question...  Can Vampiric Draining be combined with summoned creatures?  As in, can you target your own critters and suck the life outta 'em?

Well, fuck. I have managed to land myself in a situation where I am overloaded, surrounded by five sheep, on an up stair, with seventeen points of health. I'm kind of worried they'll kill me in a single  turn, no matter what I do. :-\

I guess I could try to buy some more time by drinking some potions of heal wounds. And I should definitely spend one turn on dropping the stupid yak meat that's overloading me. I butchered it for food and didn't notice how far past my weight limit it pushed me. After that... Well, I have a wand of teleportation, so I can get away if I can survive a couple of turns, or I could blast myself with a potion of confusion to confuse all my enemies. Can you climb stairs while confused? Can enemies?

Well that was amusing. I just played a  fairly good game and had to face myself twice! luckly the one was fairly low level and the other was on of the times when I just spammaled everything and did not mem canine familiar.

I just had a strong transmuter die at the hands of a strong stalker's ghost.

Which means that the next bone file encounter will be even tougher.

I am considering playing some throwaway character to go down there, then quit, in order to avoid reinforcing the bones file

The solution to strong bones files is to play on a server. You'll still get your ass handed to you by strong ghosts, but at least there's no connection between your actions and the ghosts you get, which makes it better somehow.

In other news, I survived my encounter. Poison resistance apparently protects you from the confusion potion clouds. I thought that since the potions were red in my inventory, they'd be dangerous. I guess they're only dangerous when taken internally.

Also, confused animals DO follow me through stairs, but soon scatter enough that I can run away.

Meh, transmuter ghosts are the weakest. They can't use Evaporate because they don't have potions, they can't use Sticks to Snakes because they don't have sticks and they can't change shape because they're undead.

Heh, since I've started slaughtering everything with my blade hands, I haven't trained spell skills nearly as much as I could have. I still only have two stars of piety with Sif. Should have picked some other god. Well, at least the claws work. :P

I ran into some hydras in lair, and decided to leave them alone until I have a proper way of killing them. I could go into melee with my old quarterstaff, but despite my high damage output, I'm still a squishy mage-type deep down. Don't want to try that unless I have to. Maybe I should train summoning or conjuration some more.

I ran into Aizul in the orcish mines. What the hell? What is he doing in the orcish mines? Did the orcs Delve Too Greedily And Too Deep, and breach the snake pits or something? I remember getting my ass handed to me once, so I'm leaving the mines alone for now as well. Also, there's no untainted food in the mines. I got sick several times, and actually lost two points of strength, pushing my already meager carrying capacity even lower. I've been leaving small piles of confusion potions lying everywhere. Well, I don't think there's anything in the mines that could compromise them.

I think I'll buy a book and learn Lee's Rapid Deconstruction and try it on that archer statue I saw a few levels down.

I think Kikorivera is a pretty good god for a transmuter, since you will be getting necromancy skill (thanks to distillation) and will want, at the very least, to use necromutation.
