So it seems I accidentally put my canteen in my wheelbarrow and didn't notice... and then I got really thirsty... so right before going to sleep I go to take a swig from my canteen and... end up snorting a line of low-grade meth.

I enjoy artificers more, but I'm pretty damn good with a MiBe.

* Sandblast's range was increased to 2 without stones and 3 with stones. And it's a pure earth spell now. Sandblast stays useful for a very long time.
* Stone Arrow now does 3d11 damage, which is in the same range as Throw Icicle and Mystic Blast. I used it for most of the mid-game.
* Shatter is a single school spell now!
* Staff of earth is ridiculously powerful if you can find it and train evocations. I wasn't exaggerating when I said it's the best melee weapon I ever used.
* Leda's Liquefaction is a low level AoE spell, which causes irresistible slowness. Stand still and blast enemies to death before they can reach you.

Aye. EEs don't die like flies early game anymore, now they can actualy survive till they get the other earth spells which are awesome. Out of all elemental spell schools, earth is by far my favorite.

Shameless bump: I just got lucky and found me a randart +2 +9 handaxe with vorpal brand, poison resistance and levitation on D5 (!), except I'm a draconian transmuter, so I'm training unarmed combat. Draconians are sorta good with axes, should I train up unarmed then start using it?

Hand axes suck. Vorpal sucks. Levitation isn't that hard to get otherwise when you need it.

Get a few levels in axe and use it to fight jellies, but otherwise, you'll find better stuff soon enough.

Carry it around as a heavy ring of levitation, but otherwise unarmed will do you better.

Hmm...I've never been a big fan of CCGs - I mean, I did and still do collect Pokemon cards, but I never got heavily into the battling and trading thing.

By definition that makes you a fan since you still buy them.

I just lost my strongest character yet to a hydra in the lair. The only weapon I had was an axe and some weak throwing shit so I started using my wands, but it wasn't enough. :/ Should of trained up that mace/polearm skill, Urist McFighterDwarf. Seriously, I entered the lair, saw some rats, snakes and toads and thought this would be easy. This was a character that fell through a shaft from D:6 to D:9 and fought his way back up, killing several uniques and ghosts of higher level than him. R.I.P. , you will be missed.

Also for eating poisonous corpses, unless I'm forgetting something about draconians and poison resist.

Ustxu Iceraped the Frigid Crystal of Slaughter was a glacier titan. It was the only one of its kind. A gigantic feathered carp composed of crystal glass. It has five mouths full of treacherous teeth, enormous clear wings, and ferocious blue eyes. Beware its icy breath! Ustxu was associated with oceans, glaciers, boats, and murder.

 Wizard: Sif Muna or Vehumet?
