Found it. It was under Documents and Settings/My Name/Application Data/crawl.

Inconvenient.

Now, to set the folder to Read Only. BWAHAHAHA!

Ida know... I still havent beat Dungeon Crawl, even once. And I don't really want to. The whole reason I love it so much, because its still one of those few (non korean and/or non rhythym-based-music-) games that are simply... better than me.

And I got nintendo thumbs.

Which are, not very suprisingly, completely useless when it comes to Crawl.

What I'm trying to say is... I wouldnt want to cheat me out of that precious relationship. I savescummed like once, and I used to delete the ghost thingy, but boy, this takes out half the (frustrating) fun.

Monsters generate and can "come down stairs". Even branch stairs, so don't put your stash on the same floor as the Slime stairs!
So, if I return to a dungeon level later on, there are new nasties?

Yes, new nasties can appear.
And in the case one day you manage to fetch the Orb, very bad new nasties will appear too ;)

If I am worshiping the slime god and leave a ton of slimes on each level before snatching the orb, think they will delay the nasties?

tried to compile the latest trunk(well, the latest git repository anyway), but after doing that the game didn't run. I'll stick to 0.7 for now, I guess.

Ogres can hit pretty damn hard. One of them killed my very successful deep dwarf gentleman. I like what they did with the temple, was the forest-y layout added in this version or previous ones?

It's random. Sometimes its forest, sometimes it's teleport.operated, and so on...

Teleport operated? Sounds interesting. iirc it was just a flat circle back in 0.4.

there's a small room stairs down, with one teleporter in each direction (north, south, east and west). Each teleporter takes you to a slightly bigger area with a couple of temples.

Try Incursion.  No ghosts, the game makes it easier to savescum, you barely need to eat and there's plenty of food, not everything wants to kill you, and you can cast semipermanent buffs on yourself (they only wear off if they're dispelled or you take a rest).

But it.  Will.  Whip you.

NetHack is also incredibly difficult, but in a different way.  NetHack likes to keep you in the dark about how to properly handle situations, but Incursion?  Incursion just likes to completely disregard your character.  On each and every level, it is almost a guarantee that there will be one or more obstacles your character cannot overcome.  You just have to run, hide, and pray it doesn't sniff you out.

Big box surronded by Gnolls + Jackels.

Guess what the Gnolls all had? SPEARS OF RETURNING!

Wow, I'm really excited to try 0.7, but I have a level 20 MDFi in 0.6.1 right now--I hope my desire to try the new version doesn't get the poor guy killed!

I just got my 3rd Sprint win (this time online). SpEn of Jiyva is pretty fun. In case anyone was wondering: NetTiles still works, but the display is kinda wierd.

Trees were added in 0.6.

Sprint is super easy with Troll Berserker.
Well, still haven't won. But I got pretty far.
