The only thing keeping me from doing that is the complete awkwardness if one of my friends that don't watch anime picks it up and starts leafing through.
Which happens alot, because for some reason my musical tastes are so damn interesting to people.

Anyway, I've now looked up what each name means, heh.  Didn't know Shinku was "Pure Ruby" for the whole of the first season .

I used up some of my last moments home to finish REwatching Toppen Tengen Gurran Lagann. It's weird, but the heavy optimistic idealism in the show appeals to my cynical, pessimistic mind on a very deep level. My love for it is renewed greatly.

Also, finished watching His and Her Circumstances, and all I can say is:

WHAT THE FUCK MAN?! Things are just starting to pick up! The narrator keeps blathering on about how the relationship between Arima and Yukino faces many obstacles and cruelties, which is patently NOT TRUE! In fact, for a highschool relationship, THAT'S ABOUT AS PERFECT AND IDEAL AS YOU CAN GET! There are NO problems between the two whatsoever, NONE! The time that the teacher wanted to split the two up for getting slightly less than perfect grades (must be a Japanese thing, I don't know) isn't even dealt with by them, but by their parents! And the tension only lasts for that episode anyway! OTHERWISE, THEIR RELATIONSHIP IS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT IN EVERY WAY, AND ANY PROBLEM THEY MIGHT HAVE IS COMPLETELY IMAGINED.

HOWEVER! On the last episode: A problem was STARTING to arise, as it was starting to show that Arima was an unbelievably jealous man, and wanted Yukino all to himself, so much so that it was tearing him apart inside. We don't get to see what happens! Then there was the culture festival which was built up for like 5-6 episodes beforehand, and there was going to be a cool play done by Yukino and her friends. TOO BAD WE NEVER GOT TO SEE IT! THEN the escalating story with Sakura and Tonami is left completely unresolved! WHAT THE FUCKING HELL!? THAT WAS THE LAST FUCKING EPISODE! WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?! FUCK YOU GAINAX! IS THEIR A GODDAMN SEQUAL?! I WANT TO KNOW!

Also, what the hell was with each of the last 3-4 episodes starting with the "Japan is in a depression and everything is bad" shit? That was pretty cute the first time, but what the hell does that have to do with the show at all?

Overall impress: VERY VERY VERY cute show. FUCKING RETARDED story, what with it leaving so many things unresolved.

I'm slowly pushing through Baccano - having repeated pauses to try and shake the timelines into place into my head. Stupid people cannot watch that anime... Or maybe they could, and they would enjoy it more... ARRRRGH!
