I hope Ms. Bowel Hunter shows up later in the series, because after that conflict she basically disappears and is never seen again, despite how important she seems.

I also have a comment about how stupid the main character is, in that in a scene occurring after the bowel hunter he underestimates female opponents, which is unusual in that every single female he's run up against has been a super badass level ass-kicker.

So I finally got around to watching Code Geass and stopped at episode 21.

While the show was fine for the most part, had some interesting stuff but also a lot of things that annoyed me, what got to me in the end was not exactly this episode in particular, it was more the straw that broke the camels back. My biggest issue is that the tone of the thing is all over the goddamn place, and while you might claim it's more realistic that there's good stuff along with the bad, in this case you have highschool nonsense and drama one episode and attempted mass genocide the very next.
I think my brain just noped the fuck out at that point, unwilling to follow along with the nonsense.

While it might be praised by many I don't think it's for me.

On a similar note, anyone watch Full Metal Panic? The new series looks neat (tho I understand it's the same insane combo of normal highschool life and secret mecha life as CG) and I'm not sure how much of previous stuff is needed to be able to follow it. From what I've read it's a direct sequel to the previous stuff, so I'm guessing there'll be holes that won't make much sense.
