Best anime fights?
Well, before now I would have said something in OPM, but since I've watched Boku No Hero Acedamia I'll have to either say All Might Vs Nomu or All Might Vs Sludge Guy, even if the Sludge guy fight was over in one punch, I still feel it's too amazingly badass to ignore.

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2016-08-04/resolution-to-ban-doraemon-anime-series-submitted-in-pakistan/.105034
Quote
Members of the Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party submitted a resolution to Pakistan's Punjab Assembly on Wednesday, proposing a ban on dubbing the Japanese anime Doraemon into Hindi. PTI member Malik Taimoor Masood explained that the party believes cable networks are having a "negative impact" on Pakistani children by airing Doraemon.
...
In India, Ashish Chaturvedi, whistleblower of country's Vyapam education scam, also recently criticized the Hindi- and English-dubbed versions of Doraemon and another anime, Crayon Shin-chan, for having an adverse impact on children.
...
"When I saw a young boy imitating 'Nobita Nobi' [the protagonist of Doraemon] I clapped for him," Chaturvedi said. "But, I was completely shocked when his parents said that he was so addicted to Doraemon and they have not been able to get him out of 'Nobita' he was aping. He keeps asking for gadgets or hoping for a miracle to happen, just like Nobita."

Oh yeah, I'd been wanting to relay my opinion for Kiznaiver for a while, I've just forgotten too. Actually, I think that sums up the show very succinctly, the show is honestly kinda forgettable. Every other Trigger work is mostly action driven and fast paced, while Kiznaiver is very dialogue driven and slow paced.

Every other Trigger work has tons of hooks, catchers, grabbers, and clinchers to snag the audience's attention and then keep it, while Kiznaiver's grabs are very... flat. I'd find it very easy to just ignore the show for a couple weeks.

Every other Trigger work is very base, simple, and free-spirited, Kiznaiver on the other hand is very lofty, 'philosophical' in air quotes, reserved, and I want to say... pretentious. It definitely feels pretentious.

Plus the ending feels a little forced, and while being an alright ending, it doesn't really leave a strong, polarizing impression.

Obviously Imaishi can't have his hand in everything the studio makes, and I'd say this was an alright experiment for the studio, but as a finished product it's only so-so.

Well Planetarian finished. It's by Key, only 5 episodes long and was pretty good. Recommend.

Next season I might have to check this out, purely because I can't disern wtf type of show this is meant to be. And that often bodes well.

The year is 2205. The "historical revisionists" have begun attacks on the past in their plot to change history. The Saniwa, who have been charged with protecting history, can imbue life into objects. Strongest among these are the Touken Danshi. The story centers around their cheerful lives.

Tomaru Sawagoe hands down gets the trophy of Worst Anime Parent ever.

Honestly. Overly controlling, repressive parents are universal.

It'll be beautiful if it does, too, because this is exactly what the Religious Right in the 'states has done to damned near all media created after 1960.

You wouldn't believe. Here's part of his family tree. Note that the girl at the top is actually his half-sister. Just note how often the name Tomaru Sawagoe turns up in the highlighted part, and you can even see some tomaru Sawagoe's in the greyed out parts:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I'll describe just one small part of the plot here:

This reddit has much more detail:

It's so over the top that it's beyond just being crass now.

How could he even have been the father for 6 generations through the same family tree, though? Is he immortal?
