We do lump them together for language purposes but scientifically they are regarded as distinct senses.  More to the point there are indeed conditions where you can lose some senses of "touch" but not others (losing your pain response is something that can happen).
Indeed. My great-great-aunt suffered from the loss of her ability to feel pain in both of her arms. She was fine doing things and could still feel what she picked up, but she said she always had to be extra careful when cooking because she couldn't tell if she had actually burned herself or something similar without actually looking at her hands to check.

Recently in Ring Ni Kakero, a character goes to the US and gets to meet a young African American named 'Black Shaft'. Much giggling was had.

I pushed the "random show" button on crunchyroll a couple of times and ended up watching a couple of episodes of Sound! Euphonium. It's... beautiful. Seriously, these guys put more money into drawing a single gorram trumpet than some shows get for the entire season. I keep getting distracted watching the ludicrously pretty hedgerows and miss the cute girls talking about blowing their instruments really hard.
That said, there's basically zero fanservice. Although if there was I probably wouldn't even notice because holy crap that background music sheet has all the individual notes drawn on and it corresponds exactly with the piece being played. It's just as well that the characters and plot are so straightforward, otherwise I wouldn't be able to keep track of it between all the instrument porn.
I give it a Rank Three. Nothing new or unique - unless you count an animation budget the size of UBW, but without any elaborate fight scenes to spend it on, so it just ended up everywhere. There are moe schoolgirls. Guys exist, shockingly enough, although there's like three in the whole school. I can't see the plot or characters amounting to anything interesting. Will keep watching because I have nothing better to do (and I have this weird desire to buy a flute).

The director behind that has a pretty solid record with Kyoto Animation, so they trust him to throw money at - Haruhi Suzumiya Season 2 is the only real black mark on that list (if you know what I mean).

Hibiki Euphonium is from an ongoing series of light novels that's only up to volume 4, so the anime just ends partway through the ongoing story, and you can expect to wait at least a year or two before it picks up again. Kyoto Animation is actually a very small company: they only make one show or movie at a time because they consist of a single production unit, so even if they have enough material it might take a while until they have time to adapt another season. Don't be fooled because they had a few hits: Kyoani are tiny. But that also means they pour 100% of their love and attention into a single show, and it shows in the art and animation.

Gundam Thunderbolt confirmed for 4 webisodes. First one is coming out this December. Sadly it's only 18 minutes long. Sadface.

Looks absolutely gorgeous though.

They just keep getting prettier and prettier. I'll take another short, well-done series over another SEED:Destiny any day.

I've been reading a bunch of manga/manhwa where the main character is just completely broken and over powered, and I want more of it. Some examples are One-Punch Man, Douluo Dalu 1 and 2, Tsuyokute New Saga, Overlord, Re: Monster, GATE - JIETAI KARE NO CHI NITE, KAKU TATAKERI, and Dou Po Cang Qiong. These are not all of them just the most popular. Does anyone know of more like these? I NEED THEM.

What was that one that Reelya sometimes complains about? The dude who goes to a magic school and is perfect in every way?

It certainly fits the requirements. Probably the first time that recommendation would make sense. It's a fun series in an MST3K sense.

Already read part of it, didn't like it. I wouldn't consider the MC overpowered, just a guy with a unique ability that he uses creatively. I want an MC who either has abilities so overpowered that no one can reasonably beat them, or who is weak/normal but then every good thing possible happens to them turning them into a prodigy.

I actually recommended it as a joke, since it's generally acknowledged as a show on par with bad Middle School fanfiction.

For a for-realz recommendation: I like Akagi. Dude is just a born prodigy at Mahjong. I'm not sure if a guy can be 'broken overpowered' at a board game, but I'd say he fits the bill. You don't need to know the rules of Mahjong to enjoy.

And I suppose, to a lesser extent, Initial D. It's about street racing, and the main character starts off several tiers above all his competition, though he canonically has been training since a young child and continues to train obsessively to the detriment of every other aspect of his life.

EDIT: and how could I forget Shokugeki no Soma? It's about cooking showdowns and food orgasms. I don't think you'll go wrong there.

You might wanna read further, then. I don't care how "creative" he's supposed to be, if he's nuking cities over the horizon and flawlessly returning people from the dead he's overpowered.

That said, it's also boring.

I want an MC who either has abilities so overpowered that no one can reasonably beat them, or who is weak/normal but then every good thing possible happens to them turning them into a prodigy.
Afraid I can't really think of any other recommendations, though.

Danmachi is kind of close to the second one, but the good things are more haremy than usual and he remains noticeably weaker than a lot of famous people for a long time. Meteoric growth, but relatively little curbstompery.

I guess there's always Hellsing for something that Just Won't DieTM, though I'm not sure it's quite what you're after. Odds you've already read it are pretty good as well.

I would have sworn I knew more terrible curbstompy anime, but none of it really has that uninterrupted master of everything vibe I think you're looking for.

...

I guess there's No Game No Life, but I think I might vomit just recommending it, it's popular enough that if you were looking for it you've probably found it already, and the OPness is boring as shit.
