I don't know... (Neither do I know the purpose of Lucky Star, nor Mirai Nikki.)

Personally I enjoyed the manga, and Visual Novel much more.

I actually like Lucky Star.
And K-On!.


I watched Pale Cocoon, I didn't really understand it that much.
It was still nice though.

The environment gets destroyed. Mankind escapes to the moon, where they use super-technology to basically turn it into the lunar equivalent of coruscant, but there's severe infighting and their civilization essentially gets destroyed.

Centuries pass.

One guy is working in a department where they try to recover old, pre-collapse data, and he sees a number of interesting clips that tell us all this. He mostly doesn't understand them; he does understand that there's something interesting above. Most others are totally uninterested, and the department is shutting down; everyone is moving downwards.

He takes some sort of rocket-elevator up to the top, where he sees what appears to be a functional, mothballed rocket ship, and a green earth. Unfortunately...

The environmental machinery is slowly failing, making the habitable zone shrink downwards towards said machinery. The protagonist dies, either from crashing into the ground (or roof...), or just lack of oxygen.

Punchline: Humanity keeps shrinking. Nobody ever figures it out again. Presumably we're eventually wiped out.

Oh, and just to fuck with your mind extra much, for a good while it seems that the place they are on is in fact Earth, in which case moving down would eventually have them hit the ground, but would not exactly be necessarily fatal. Not so.

from what i saw, they learned nothing, and the guy went insane and flew up on an elevator what then broke and then he died....but hey, at least he got to see the earth.

only thing i can grasp form this is that they said the earth was rust colored, and now its blue, so the earth is restored.

I thought from what the girl said that it was on the moon.

And the rocket elevator was kinda random, he just runs off and takes it, pretty much out of nowhere.

Four of the endings are based on a last choice you cannot see in your first time going through a path.

Therefore if you have a save near the ending of each route (Exception of Kohaku's.) getting all the endings will be much faster.
