The Third Arc of SAO is pretty sweet, Akame ga Kill! is pretty good if you like subbed.

Most of things made at Ghibli studios under Myazakis' reign I have watched, and to do so I recommend to everyone seeking to watch good things. Here's a list of what I have seen and would recommend to see:

Then there is also that bizarre thing named Paprika. It is colourful, entertaining and rather well animated, while slightly disturbing. Good for a watch or two.
Black Lagoon is rather okay, first season of it. It is about action, of course, but something else glimpses there from time to time. I think.

All the other titles I have seen except maybe some Ghibli pieces I've seen but haven't listed I regret wasting time onto.

I hope that was useful and you'll find something from listed above entertaining.

Kaiji is Dark. I love the dark ones (As well as the thinking ones).

Thought about starting Puella Magi Madoka Magica (Though I heard they went full card-captor with the anime, unlike the manga which was slightly more Akame Ga Kill).

This list could be neverending and the backlogs are colossal.
A little specification of what you want never hurt anyone :).

Good list, but needs a few fixes:

But nowhere near as good as the manga (personal opinion). It had all the usual adaptation problems: bad writing, inconsistency, filleritis -- plus a few original, distracting details (such as the "lunar slum city") which never appeared in the original. Assuming that I remember correctly -- I watched it about 10 years ago.

The anime only utilized the first three volumes of the manga, so they had to make up lots of stuff. And most of that turned out to be a bit off.

Apparently the best way to start a war between fans of Hataraku Maou Sama is to start a conversation of Maou x Emi or Maou x Chiho.

I'll keep this in mind.

Also, Maou and Emi are totally a thing, and nobody can tell me otherwise.

I've also realized that I ship anime characters way too much. Ah well.
