Restoration items are most useful in the exams, where it's most beneficial to bring characters that are very specialized, and the items help out with healing. They're only nominally useful in the story mode, and lose value VERY quickly as you progress onward in the game. The best healing item in the game won't heal 1/10 of an endgame character's health bar.

If the items were more like the tales of... games, where they heal a percentage rather than a set amount, they'd be much more useful.

It should be noted, that the sprites are very small and lacking in such... intricate detail. The knights, Nekomata, and the succubi are the only sprites that have decent boobage, and even then it's nothing to look at.

Those pictures aren't even in the game, btw.

Of course, I only speak of Disgaea 1. The sequals I know nothing of.

I could do that, but the fact of the matter is that many of the really good ones (which tends to mean unusual ones) are just never officially subbed at all, so they don't exist.

There's a whole world of fansubs out there. Of course those are technically illegal, but when it's a series that has never been licensed outside Japan, I'm not very bothered about that.

Okay. That aside, on Crunchyroll:

Voices of a Distant Star.
It's probably one of the best animes ever made, and it was made by a single person on a small budget, if you can believe that. It's also a relatively short movie, so you won't lose much time watching it.

In the same vein, have a look at Pale Cocoon.

Hm, but most of the really good stuff isn't available (in legal form) online at all.. in many cases, just not at all, online or offline. Still, those two are two of the best.

I consider Anime and Manga to be seperate from eachother.

It annoys me when people use the Manga to justify or critcise the anime itself especially since I fully support Animes seperating from the Manga.

So I really can't rate one over the other.
