I honestly just thought it was a normal dating sim with catgirls, not a goshujin-sama routeless experience ;_; My friend I share birthdays with got it for me off my wishlist, so I gifted him Hatoful Boyfriend in revenge.

You fiend!

I actually played Hatoful Boyfriend, and I honestly thought it would be funny.

But the thing was that I understood the jokes the game was presenting me... but they were told at such an expense to gameplay it just became painful. I don't want to give too many away... But for example time will just jump around a lot with no real care for flow (Just like a normal dating sim), Your strength stat is 500 while your others is 1 because your a human and MUCH stronger then a bird (except one... Which kind of kills the joke for me... Make my stat obscenely high but have it not matter?)

Trust me read a letsplay and just skip playing it.

I guess it is to say Hatoful Boyfriend is trying too hard, if that makes sense.

In case anyone is interested, I do not recommend Neko-Para unless you're looking for soft subservience harem porn. The visuals are absolutely delightful, but it's not doing a lot for me.

It also has a boob-bounciness slider. So yeah. Highly recommended as soft pornography. Not recommended for anything else.

Meh, I honestly love Hatoful Boyfriend for what it is. This is why I'm a better friend & person than that wish-fulfilling jerkass >:]

For the insane mess of a game that constantly fails to be funny because it tries too hard at it. <3

I like it too, but more conceptually then... actually playing it.

I think it's a good idea to give the vndb tags a glance before playing, it can tell you if it's a bad idea.  Also apparently they have a tag for "Patissier Protagonist".

You know...

I think my favorite filler for really long series are ones that characterize and expand upon characters that will never really get much screen time.

Also... Fairtale has probably the worst plot twist, that it doesn't know is a plot twist, I ever seen in it.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I don't want to be negative about a show I used to really like >_<, there is a lot I could forgive and just go "Ok, that was weird... lets move on"... But it is like it has been infected by the Dumb Shonen virus. I swear if Lucy becomes a Popstar I am going to run for the hills.

Also no, I have no idea why I still watch it other than... I watch it at the same time as Future Card Buddyfight, which is mediocre but has no "DUMB!" moments. (certainly had an anticlimax though. Seriously everyone know who Purgatory knight was, couldn't you have thrown a real twist?)

Ohh I know why I still watch it! It is easy to watch latest episodes and there is only one a week. If I had a large bunch of continuous weekly series I guess I'd be watching all of them. Heck I'd be watching Vanguard (The Kings of "We are dropping plotpoints... Live with it" but who are unique and do plot twists other shows would never do) if there wasn't a billion episodes between me and where it currently is.

---

Ok I CAN say something good about that episode.

It was kind of funny... near the end.

How many edit's are you on now?

Probably 8

But that is rather typical of me.

Also today was a pretty funny episode of Buddy Fight.

They are acting like a major betrayal occurred because one of them cheated at a card game back when they were like 6.

It is like something out of Yu-Gi-Oh abridged.

Cheating in a Children's Card Game is serious offense.

My opinions:

The parkour one is the only one with an interesting storyline and premise but the design of the mechas is... Not very good to say the least.

The next three are all variants of 'monsterz attacked' and blaaaargh.

The final one seems fairly good but mecha in space is boooooring.
