I like that they're actually working together properly now. It makes a nice parralel to the fight where he blew up the colony.

 Xi Gundam was confirmed as the chosen one out of the cameo poll top 10.

Funfact:in the tourney brackets the team names are jammed full of references to other Sunrise series, including Mai-Hime, Votoms, Vifam, and Love Live to name just a few

Watching Durarara after seeing a thing on imgur. First episode started slow, but it got better in the second half. 3 episodes in and still don't know what's going on really, but it's just weird enough to keep my interest.

Well so far Gundam build Fighters last episode was interesting.

But the opponents were trounced so thoroughly that I don't really understand yet what their new abilities really mean.

It's probably setting up a contrast: they blitz one or two fights to show how much they've improved, then they come up against the real deal and barely scrape through.

That's pretty much exactly what happened a few episodes ago. This was more of a "see what we can do now" thing, with them all showing off how they can hold their own in a fight now as opposed to basically being Sekai's backup (particularly now that Fumina is playing to her strengths instead of a support unit and so is a lot better at single combat) and showing how they're a lot better at using actual teamwork compared to the fights in the first half of the show
