No, you missed the obvious ploy. The older brother is actually a crossdressing older sister kuudere. The younger sister is tsundere for the older sister's male persona and yandere for the older sister's female persona.

You see, this would actually make it worth watching. Which is why it won't happen.

Quite liked the ending for Hitsugi no Chaika. It had a nice conclusive ending. I like when animes end with "this is the end. full stop" and don't leave tons of hanging plot threads to cash in on sequels.

So it ended with Chaika getting her memory erased because she needed to use her magic one last time for a final attack and the weapon she had could use her memories instead of magical fuel. Normally this would be a sad thing, except all of Chaika's memories were fake implanted traumatic memories, so it was actually a good ending for her.

It was a nice ending, though I feel they didn't do Gaz justice. His death seemed very unlike him. For a man who manipulated the world with ease and can read the actions of others it didn't seem like he would die that way. It's almost as if he wanted to die. A lot of people say the ending was rushed, and I agree with them.

My pet theory is that he didn't die. It was off screen after all.

If we exclude eroge adaptations from "real anime" then School Days, Kanon, Air and many more shows can't be classed as "real anime" either.

TV vs OVA anime is a useful distinction, source material is not: where do you draw the line, are the Fate/Stay Night series not real anime either, because there are sex scenes in the game? Do we arbitrarily draw a line and eroges which are on the "too sexy" side of the line can't be considered to have real adaptations, even if they're broadcast in the same timeslot as other anime we consider "real"?

Hnnoo, the point I was making is that something that starts off as porn is probably going to have a lower threshold of likelihood when it comes to incest. Regardless of it becoming a real boy anime later on, the initial conceit would seem to me to lessen the impact. Like, I probably wouldn't call FS/N as something important to note for having a threesome, because, y'know, it's not that surprising since it started out as porn. It's still a real anime or whatev', it's just... lower standards when it comes to culturally abnormal sexuality. Or something.

Yep it's Diebuster making its first SRW debut. Which means we'll be having TTGL, Evangelion, Gunbuster, and Diebuster in the same game. Here's hoping for a Gainax Dynamic Special or something.
