Yes if you want good fights, no if you want good pacing or characters IMO.

It's probably the best possible group to be producing F/SN stuff. I'd actually recommend it so far, with a warning that it could take a sharp turn toward the "What the fuck is this shit" at any moment (given that the source material is literally porn in places, and while they probably won't be adapting those parts, you never know what'll creep in). Amazing setting, worldbuilding, and peripheral characters, with a studio that's great at making things look pretty and animating fights (of which there's several). Really falls flat on the core characters, though.

Plot seems to be a crapshoot for this stuff, as well, although by my understanding this is probably the best of the three routes from the original (unless you're okay with the "All the trigger warnings all the time" plot of Heaven's Feel, if my understanding of that story is correct - not too familiar with it).

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

The new series actually makes the plot more bearable really.

I'm liking Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso so far, it's a little like Nodame Cantabile or Sakimachi no Appollon. Also Gugure! Kokkuri-san is kinda fun for random comedy. Same male MC voice actor as Barakamon from last season (which was really good), and similar set up / character.

It's the visual representation of the Berserker Suck Mode. It makes him 95% weaker than he would if he was any other class.

Hmmmm.
I actually loved the characters and plot in that one, and the fights get amazing pretty quickly, though I have the sneaking suspicion i may have skipped a couple episodes ahead compared to you guys.
Quick question, what was the ending scene for the latest episode you guys watched?

There's only four episodes out right now (including episode 0).  I guess you might have missed episode 2, that was all talking.
