Okay, I'm re-watching TTGL. I must relive the epicness.

Was it just me, or was episode 4 of TTGL the weakest of the entire series? If it weren't for the introduction of the Black Siblings I would probably skip it on every watch-through.

Yep, you'd be correct. And after skimming wikipedia, you definitely aren't the only one who thinks that. Part of the reason may be because it was the only episode in the series with a guest director, but I can't say for sure.

On the bright side, that was probably the best time to have a "worst episode". Viewers have more than likely been sufficiently impressed by the previous three that they're willing to stick with the series, and every episode after that looks much better by comparison.

GL uses the Gurren Sunglasses as a Boomerang and as a Sword, Plus It's stinkin' Kamina, he loves his shades and wants his metal body to have some too.
Also, thing about TTGL: rule of cool wins the day in that anime. they do it why: cause they can and it's cool.

It's real. Twas announced at an official event last night confirming it. It's been up on all the newsites and as you can see from the link it's from the official Toei channel.
