Yay it looks like we're finally getting to the interesting bits. Thought the fact that Ikkuu has Chachamaru's orbital laser is kinda worrying. The teases as to what happened between this and Negima that Fate's been dropping sound pretty grim.

Can anyone recommend some Mecha Anime that isn't Gundam, Evangelion or Macross yet features a transforming Mech(doesn't have to be the main mech but just a common one)?

For ideas of what i like, what i have watched 100% is:
Eureka 7/E7AO, Genesis of Aquarion/Aquarion EVOL, G Gundam, Gad Guard, Gurren Lagann.
(As for gundam, I only like G Gundam, i have tried the others but...eh...just not really my thing.)

Have you tried Turn A, 08th MS? Both are Gundam but very different from the standard ones.

Aside from that.. Hm.. Transforming....

Megus XLR? :p I kid. The only ones I can think of are Mazinger and Macross. Macross heavily features them. The Veritech fighters, rather uncommonly now that I think about it, have three modes.

More of a Super Robot guy huh? Well there's Getter Robo Armageddon or any Getter Robo, also check out GaoGaiGar. I'll also throw out a reccomendation for Super Robot Wars Divine Wars amd SRW The Inspector. Also Genesis Climber Mospeada. It's in the Real Robot genre but from the feel of the shows you mentioned you might like it from what I've seen of it.

They tend to be more up my alley, yeah, but I'm fine with Real Robot too. My list above was all super-robot genre anime, yeah, but that was just a 100% watched List...I'll admit my favorite TTGL mech is actually the Grapearls, lol...which are in the real robot (and seemingly redshirt) section...
You suggested Getter Robo, GaoGaiGar, and Super Robot Wars Divine Wars and Inpsector? Hmm I'll give them a try.
(Admittedly I had heard of Super Robot Wars but I thought it was a video game, lol, dunno why.)

Mazinger? That's a new name to me...Turn A gundam and 08thMS are on my current to-watch list of Mecha Anime, which is on of the various reasons why i asked for series other than Gundam

I got well acquainted with Macross(main reason why i asked for other than Macross) and Mospeada via the old-timey poorly made dub, ROBOTECH. Admittedly, Macross is why I demand Transforming Mecha. Anyways Robotech is admittedly what got me into Mech Anime in general, but i looked the originals of the core anime of RT up, and I'll say it plain: I like the originals(Macross, and etc) better, yeah, but never could finish any of them due to various constraints, I'll look into Mospeada again though.

Well Super Robot Wars is a video gameseries, the animes are adaptations of the Original Generations sub series of it that are basically Super Robot Wars games which feature only the original characters from other Super Robot Wars games. The Inspectors anime is far superior to Divine Wars in terms of awesomeness and mech animation really, but if you don't play the games then you need to watch Divine Wars to get the full context of everything.

I'll check 'em both out, and I do lean more toward super robots, but i do like Real robots too, my faves are all supers  however, lol. Anyways, thanks!

That explains it all, I could've sworn i had looked it up before, of course that was years ago but i had several sources state it was a game, thanks for the clarity.
