Keep thinking about that 'Japanese conservative Girl-Student accidentally finds American weeaboo Man-Tutor' manga someone pitched a while back.
So many hilarious possible moments. Makes me wish it were drawn.

The cringe potential alone is remarkable.

I have to say my favorite terrible line from Fairy Tale has been said recently

"We have magic designed to kill people"

And I just can't help but go: "Ohh no not kill people!!! That is entirely unlike the majority of the magic we seen in edolas. Quick Natsu use your fire magic that is clearly designed to roast sausages and not killing!"

Pretty sure the difference is that stuff like fire magic can be used for mundane purposes, like cooking sausage. Presumably this other kind of magic is only used for killing.

Ignoring that these particular villains don't... There are plenty of wizards who have magic that is pretty much exclusively combative magic with no real non-combative uses outside, I guess, demolition.

It is just a line said as if it meant something, but comes off as rather brainless if you put any thought into it.

Hence why it is my favorite terrible line. Bonus points because it is not from a terrible anime (though it could cut down on fan service).

I'm only about 60 episodes in, so I'm not sure how it goes from there, but so far it's seemed pretty tame to me compared to a lot of shows. (Of course after having watched KLK I guess just about any show will seem tame on that aspect :P).

It compromises the standard anime constant fanservice to instead have large breaks dedicated to fanservice.

I just watched the anime have a bikini show for no reason.

So imagine if between a fight in KLK the characters decided they will try to distract the opponent with a pole dancing contest.

But yes indeed it isn't that bad, It still could really cut down.

...I could actually imagine a couple of the characters doing that. And it would be hilarious

I found that even for all its clicheness, Infinite Stratos is amazing.

I.S.-2 was really horrid though, much worse than season 1. -_-

I.S. is probably my least favorite of that type of show. Hell, watch Symphogear or Strike Witches for what I.S. should have been.

Infinite Stratos needs to rot in a pit. I watched it while I was in a generous, forgiving mood and managed to finish it on the back of "maybe it'll get serious next episode...."

That said, I like the abstract concept of power armor-scale mecha, even if it sours when exposed to the harsh light of one of the worst harem shows I've ever had the misfortune to watch. The character archetypes in particular were painfully cookie-cutter.

So, has anyone here watched Chaos;Head? I've been meaning to get into it and I don't know whether or not it's good.

I haven't watched it, primarily due to the premise kinda not hitting it right for me.

But they say that the plot of the anime of Chaos;Head is woefully shortened out compared to the VN. I'm not sure If I'll ever get around it to assess its quality.

I was forced to watch the first episode and thought it was retarded, does that count?
