You're clearly missing the school from Tenjou Tenge in that list.
It's really important! Really, it is!

Fine more terrible schools

-Detective Q: OHH GAWD the crud that school will pull. I know this is a detective school and TECHICALLY you can have classes with adults in them (the lack of adult students is a bit of a mystery... though I guess in theory they could have their own class)... but some of those things you do not leave up to children (bombs being common). Also this is a really unsafe school.
-Yamino Pastichie: All your grades are on a per individual basis, so you can end up with two talentless lazy people in your group and you are doomed to fail (This actually happens) or have extremely talented team mates and have them carry you (This also happens). Yay a school where your marks feel completely superfluous.
-Ouran Host Club: An Odd combination of good and bad. On the surface it is an overly extravagant and excellent school with everything you can ask for and more. On the other hand the sheer crud they will let you get away with or bring on campus makes me wonder if this school isn't secretly an experiment in high society social Darwinism. (I don't like giving examples from Comedies...)

I am debating if I should add Familiar Zero to the list... since it is terrible... what with its staff that is either incompetent, evil, or lecherous (They need a more thorough screening process) and its terrible handling of discipline or familiar accommodations... But it is a school in a medieval setting so I might have to give it a pass for not torturing its students. It also seems rather basic, they teach "basic magic theory" over halfway through the curriculum, and while I know it is for the audience's sake it just felt odd to me.

Ok waded through ep1 of most of the shows this season. Most were mediocre of course. THEN I just came across this:

Fuuun Ishin Dai Shogun

Thought it would have been like Nobunaga The Fool or something from the description and artwork. No such luck. The most pestilent pile of puke of the last 3+ seasons is the only way I can describe it. And that includes some pretty cheesy shows it's up against.

In this show they clearly skimped out on animating talking people's faces so that they could focus on the "jiggle physics" whilst 1970's funky porno music plays. Pretty much horrid level of detail in every aspect of the artwork except boobs. And the jiggling wasn't even done with multiple drawings, like most ecchi shows. They just show a still shot of cleavage and apply some sort of distortion filter over it.

I didn't even notice it had teachers.
Actually I haven't watched it since I was a teenager.

Maybe I should try it again. The third season came out when I wasn't looking.

Edit: Oh god.

Familiar of Zero's only redeeming trait is its quirk of producing large amounts of mid to high quality fanfiction.

Fine more terrible schools
I remember BakaTest's school ranking system:
Quote
Grades mean almost everything. Class A, taught by a smart-looking teacher, uses a plasma TV the size of an entire wall as their blackboard, personal laptops, personal air conditioners, refrigerators, adjustable seats, and all kinds of different appliances. Within the refrigerator are all kinds of drinks and snacks. Their ceiling is made of glass, and the walls allow them to hang up high-class drawings and plants.

As for Class F, the worst class... they have Japanese desks and seat paddings. Their blackboard is filthy and even lacks chalk! When someone complains that the leggings of his desk is broken, the teacher responds, "Didn't we distribute some glue to stick wood together? Glue it back yourself later." Another student complains that wind blows through a broken window in the classroom. The teacher replies, "Understood. I will apply for plastic bags and invisible glue to fix it later." With spider webs everywhere, not a patch of the wall is clean. A unique moldy smell spreads across the entire room from the old tatamis used to tile the floor. This is the status of Class F.
Although they do have "Exam Summoning Wars" where a class can earn another's classroom and equipment if they win.

Ah, GTO (Great Teacher Onizuka) had a rather (sadly) realistic approach in how bad a school can be when protecting itself from scandals & such.

In the manga side of things...Mmm, Negima had a nice school & staff, also rich enough to make pretty insane & fun events too. Prison School on the other hand is...well...the name speaks for itself.

I hope by "terrible schools" you are talking about the concepts of it.

Watched all 4 seasons of Familar of Zero and I'm considering watching it again sometime.
It's actually quite popular on other forums and imageboards on the internet, no idea what's bothering you guys.

Bata to Test to Shokanju was pretty entertaining as well.

Familiar of Zero is popular on those boards and forums because of its amazing setting wasted on unholy amounts of fan service and torture S&M play.

^Pretty much this. Thiugh as some of them will tell you, even the setting has flaws people tend to retcon out since the author (may he rest in peace) tended to throw weird details on a whim without putting much thought on the ramifications of them.

Except for the whole "The Staff are completely incompetent to stop either one of the two superpowers on campus." Granted, they didn't know about one until a master plan was instigated, and the other they thought was taken care of already.
