Did Ragyou hear Senketsu's voice at the end there?

Possible, or she just heard Ryuko vocally responding to Senketsu with "There's nothing to be afraid of, Senketsu." Easy to interpret that response to mean Senketsu said something about Ragyou's threat level. How to spin that into a vague yet threatening one-liner that can play mind games? Pretend that you heard what it said and agree with it by saying "Kamui are so honest." aka "Oh yeah, I'm so powerful that I heard that, and your talking clothes are totally telling the truth right now. You're boned."

Though really, Ragyou also seems so OP that it wouldn't surprise me if Trigger pulled that power out of nowhere next episode. "Oh yeah guys, I could hear your talking lingerie this whole time. THE WHOLE TIME. Also I can breathe fire and fart rainbows and you just activated my trap card." *plot twists continue to twist*

I was under the impression that life fiber creatures can hear other life fiber creatures, hence Satsuki and Senketsu not being able to communicate while Ryuko can hear Senketsu from across the room.

It's mentioned that Ryuko's father made Senketsu to specifically be worn by Ryuko. I don't remember the exact wording, but the reason she could talk with Senketsu was because Senketsu had a piece of Ryuko's nervous system sewn into him or something.

If Ryuko was half life fiber the whole time, and this lets her hear any life fibers, then she could've heard some other Life Fiber talking at some point during the series. But she hasn't. No covers talked, no uniforms said anything, not even Junketsu said anything while it was sewn onto Ryuko's skin. Either it's a special case between senketsu and ryuko, or no other life fibers have anything to say to the cattle they're supposed to feed on.

Plus, I'm pretty sure that whenever Nui or Ragyuo responded to Senketsu, they were indirectly responding to it, or responding to its actions. Either Ryuko was talking to Senketsu and they could hear Ryuko, which was what they responded to, or Senketsu was flat out moving around and they could talk to it as a person might talk to a mute but animated killer doll. Pretty much talking down to it with no idea of how it responds.

But there was one point when they first introduced the nudist beach guy with the guns where Senketsu talked directly to him. It took direct contact, but he still did it and made the guy respond "Did that just talk to me?". So I dunno, it seems like it's a vague mechanic.

I'm not sure how I feel about the way they handled the Naked Sol crashing into the Primordial Life Fiber. On the one hand, it was an awesome scene, but on the other it didn't feel like it exactly accomplished much. "I can't cut this" "Emotional support!" "I can cut this" kind of felt arbitrary. Plus it kind of felt like it took too big a cue from Dai-Gurren's hammer-piercing attack. It kinda felt out of place.

Mind you, I'm only complaining because it's surrounded in that episode by near-perfection. It's still solidly in the "pretty great" category. Dem new uniforms...

It made fights seem more urgent and tense, and it meant that even her power was limited. Eventually, this factor became almost rrelevant because Ryuko/Senketsu got character development.

Any other good animes/mangas that have a similar trope of "great power but super brief fights or else consequences"? I'm fairly certain there's a trope in TvTropes for this, but I can't find it. Otherwise I'd check the list there.
