Oh, don't worry guys, this was a completely sedentary episode where nothing plot-important happens what-so-ever and I'm sure you could just skip it without missing out on anything~
You can't miss horror kamui though, goddamn thats a gruesome transformation.

"People die when they're killed by bloodloss" was probably the highlight of the episode.

After watching FMA:B enough times in a row, watching FMA:Shamballa last night was a bit of a trip remembering the 1st anime's storyline events and etc., and following the storyline closer for that.

Recalling all that, between the 1st anime and Brotherhood, I kinda like how Brotherhood panned out better; and considering alternate realities (where the 1st anime dealt with by the end and in Shamballa), thinking about how both the 1st anime and Brotherhood could equally work as alternate realities as well tied my brain into a knot figuring out how that would work out.

What would be interesting would be a combination of the two; with Shamballa happening, despite Brotherhood's closing. I would imagine Olivier Armstrong would have her hands full dealing our reality's crap jumping into their reality, especially after dealing with the events of Brotherhood. Then again, the Briggs forces would probably hold off quite well due to being an army of badassery.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.
