Not only did I finally succeed in getting my anime club to show some emotion...I got three members with tear-stained faces at the end of the movie. All it took was a little movie called Grave of the Fireflies.

It's actually a really powerful movie, I'd go so far as to state that it is probably one of the most emotional movies that I have ever seen. It follows the lives of two children (a young man and his four year old sister) whose mother dies in a fire bomb air raid. He acts strong for his sister, and they try to survive in the aftermath of World War II. It's a really powerful movie, and the dub is up completely on YouTube, I highly recommend anyone who hasn't seen it to check it out.

So I assume some of you are watching Kill la Kill. I've been hearing that the third episode premiered in Ufotable's theater a few days ago, so it's presumably important. We'll know for sure once the subs are out, I guess. All I know is that Ryuuko isn't alone in the wearing of ridiculously skimpy outfits.

Oh, and I find it rather amusing that it's the protagonist that's wearing a skimpy black and red outfit and shouting things like "We'll settle this later!" before running away
