I'm loving 'Uchouten Kazoku' (The Eccentric Family), episode 12 set up for an potentially amazing series/season finale; I'm about 80% as excited for it as the Breaking Bad finale; CANNOT WAIT FOR NEXT WEEKEND.

Welp, the fight with Highway Star has made Crazy Diamond my favorite stand so far.

Edit: it seems I have reached the end of the retranslated scans availiable so far. Well I'm not waiting months for the next 3 volumes to get translated so I guess its time for me to dive into the Duwang translation. Ugh.

I've been feeling the same watching Samurai Champloo as I did with Cowboy Bebop. I like the characters, and it has some really awesome scenes, but the comedy style of the show doesn't jive with me at all.

Also a side not, AoT is getting slightly annoying with all the "Armin figured this shit out from stuff you didn't see therefore he's smart as fuck" stuff lately, some of the jumps in logic they take are quite annoying honestly.

But all of that is remedied when Eren goes full rage and punches shit out, that's always enjoyable to watch :D

Vocaloids are totally anime, right? No? It's totally got animation and anime style and Japanese and stuff. Yeah, totes anna-may material. This seems the most fitting thread.

Anyway, I've discovered vocaloids are actually pretty cool. I get that the main appeal would probably be the vocals, but some (read:all) of the instrumental composition is just great. The vocals also compliment the music well, and given my lack of knowledge in Japanese, the voices just become another great instrumental addition to the overall composition without distracting from all teh musikness.

Also the animated videos for some of these songs are pretty awesome. *cough*this crazy cool one*cough*

Yeah, seriously.
Though I think it was an inevitable conclusion to the story arc, and the show would be less without such scenes.

Trigun was one of the shows I've seen that pulls the biggest 180 in mood and style from the first episode to the last ones.
