I vote that the ending of every harem manga be a blank white page saying "You've read an entire harem manga. Why would you do that?"
What about another season to troll viewers on their choices?

What choices? How many Harems even make more then one person even a choice?

Heck I've seen a show with THREE love interests... and the Joke Gay love interest was a much better choice then everyone else... and yet even I knew who the main character was going to be with.

Harem means more girls.
More girls means more panties.
More panties means more fanservice.
More fanservice means more boobs in the Beach/Hot spring episode (Which is ALWAYS there).
More boobs= more win.
That is the logic of Ecchi.

“Do something!” she whispered, trying to keep her sight on all of them at once.
Basileus clapped his hands once. The Forgotten took a step forward, attracted by the sound.
“There, I did something. I clapped. I like clapping,” he said. -The Investigator And The Case Of The Missing Brain.

The School Days anime definitely had one of the most disturbing endings for a Harem Series

A harem of two people?

Err wait nevermind... there was more, but only two really stuck out to me.

School Days was originally a VN, for some reason the anime adapted the worst ending.

I guess that could be the source of many of the "One true love" harems that think they are "Everyone has a chance Harems" since visual novels usually highlight your one true love but allow you to pick anyone you want.

Like the Prince in Princess Maker 2. SURE there are a lot of candidates, but he is the one.

That's really creepy.

Not as creepy as the player character being Gendo Ikari, though.

oh god

That LP. . . . man.  I almost want to go reread it for it's sheer weirdness value.  And then watch Evangelion.  And then write fanfic about punching Gendo in the face, because man.

Oh, I've just thought up a good application of Kinect. "Punch Gendo Ikari in the Face, Repeatedly," The Game. It will be even better when we have force-feedback VR.  :P

Gendo Ikari was the most likable character from Evangelion.

What are you talking about? Satan is clearly the intended choice.

Leaving aside whether I agree with you, that's like saying that a particular doughnut in a box is the healthiest because it has marginally less frosting than the rest.

Obviously. Being Queen of some pissant human kingdom is only loftier than being Queen of the Underworld in strictly literal terms. Unless you weren't planning on setting your adoptive daughter/divine warrior up in the greatest position of power possible, for some asinine reason.
