Also, I just read the wikipedia article on it, and saw the 'killer daily workout' description. And then I realized that probably a lot of athletes can probably easily do more than that each day. The 10k a day thing is probably the only 'killer' about it. So I'm gonna have to call superpowers there.

And yeah, that sfx trans note just looks so out of place...

But seriously, he got his stupid amount of strength by just doing the extreme exercise. Sure there may be something that the Author hasn't revealed yet about it, but your response...
100% EVERY Character has given when they hear how he gets that strong. GO READ IT... It has some of the best artwork and the way pages flow together it is almost an anime as if they had taken the main frames and put them into a book. I mean look at this gif.

Oh, I'm not saying it looks bad- I'm actually very interested in reading it. And it'll be interesting to see how the aforementioned aspect plays out. Italso looks completely awesome, so there's that. I was just noting my skepticism on that part. Which I assume will be converted to enjoyment when I read. (And then again, there's always the EVERY DAY aspect- that helps its case a lot.)

Why do you keep changing everyone's hair color?

I am too used to other animes where everyone looks alike except for their hair. I actually spent half a season thinking one of the characters was someone completely different. (mind you the worst I ever seen, wasn't from an anime)

Furtuka has it right. Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger and Grendizer. The two girls who are beaten up are Garuda K7 and Doublas M2(they're the ones featured on the signboard above the shop along with Mazinger Z). Plus Baron Ashura is now a fusion of a tomboy and a girly girl instead of a man and a woman.

As for whether they're the good guys... It's a comedy, and they're the protagonists, so they're the "heroes".

Lucky Star has soooooo many references, it seems like there can't be a scene without some kind of reference. It's practically chock-full of Haruhi references. Tons of other anime/manga references. Even some meta jokes about otaku, weaboos, anime conventions, and all that jazz. It's so self-aware I'm surprised the series hasn't become sentient already.

Then suddenly there's a scene transition exactly like 24 that comes out of nowhere. My sides have been split.
