I need to get a movie editing program so I can make a video featuring Guile with attack on titan music.
I was rather surprised to see that this doesn't exist yet, considering how many places have mentioned it being a good idea.

Actually, here's a mostly complete list of the extant versions.

I am starting to think I shouldn't be allowed to pick animes... at least by description only.

So I saw this one I chose because the concept was interesting. Afterall it basically turned a cultural phenomenon into a tangible construct and could easily be either commentary on society or allow what would otherwise be a psychological drama to be less insular.

But no... two things did happen that were interesting... but here are extra thoughts too
1) The entire premise of the anime was dropped ENTIRELY within two episodes... which is stunning! It is like watching two episodes of Case Closed and then they just stop solving mysteries. I mean the description of the anime only describes the premise of the first two episodes and otherwise it could be completely ignored.
2) This is the first time where the joke homosexual love interest actually made more sense then the actual love interests and it is weird. I mean he actually made moves, was genuinely good hearted, offered aid to the main character, and didn't suffer any personality defects. This is the only time where the joke love interest was outright superior to the actual love interests.
3) "Dufus gets beaten up a lot" should probably be considered its own Genre of anime by now.
4) Honestly there seems to be a pattern in anime characters not actually doing anything about their station. I mean say what you will about how boring training montages and power up arcs are... at LEAST they are doing something.
5) HOLY COW that is the worst school I ever seen, It actually doesn't supply translation services for foreign students? Say what you will about animes where the schools are SUPPOSED to be crummy, it was always due to outside influences (budget or gang violence for example)... it was rarely because the school itself stunk.

On the bright side unlike most of my bad choices where the only enjoyment I end up having is either overanalyzing the material or liking the terrible content... this one actually throws in a few good jokes.

It pretty much already is, what with all the Magical Girlfriend shows that pair a hapless male lead with a tsundere female lead.

It was probably what was so refreshing about the joke love interest.

He actually made moves, didn't act like a spaz, and was generally well mannered and good intentioned.

None of this "Ohhh, I can't make any moves I am too shy" or "WHAT!?! HE HAS EYES THAT ARN'T LOOKING AT ME!?!" stuff...

It is kind of odd

For videogames I use the rule that I will never put any imagination to imagine how things will be.

Yet for anime I keep watching garbage because I keep imagining it will take this stupid premise and use it in a deep and meaningful way. Yet it keeps end up being that the stupid premise makes a stupid anime. UHHHHHHGGGH!!!
