I watched the first season of "My sister cannot be this cute" Or something. I just call it Ore No. It was amazing but I feel weird for liking it. Also started Toradora! because it's great. I'm on like, episode nine. It's a shame there was never an official English translation.

Try Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko, Kimi ni Todoke, and Mawaru Penguindrum. I think I have seen a bunch of other shows you'd like too

I really really wanted to love Tatami Galaxy, and I definitely enjoyed watching it, it just wasn't funny enough for me to fall in love with it. Should definitely be watched though as the art and characters are great. But be prepared for fast talking. It also boasts what is possibly my favorite ending song.

Fast talking indeed... holy carp. I'm on episode 4, and I still have to pause to read each line of subtitles. It's bad enough that it's making it hard to catch the visuals too, which are just stylistically cool. I love the use of color, bold shapes and lines, etc. Real nice.

I like how the story is presented too, with each episode exploring a possible alternate reality resulting from which social club the protagonist chooses to participate in. There are the common threads between each reality; the supporting characters, the other clubs, the fortune teller, when he remembers his promise, Ozu ruining everything, and all the other stuff. And though it's retelling similar events, it keeps it fresh by changing expected patterns just as you start to think you know what to expect. And though it varies, there are some pretty crappy realities where everything sucks in the end... but through each one, more information about what's going on is revealed. There's some nice subtlety to the character interactions too... the story isn't thrown in your face all the time, as I've seen happen. And what even is Ozu's deal when it comes right down to it I mean really?

Anyway, it's pretty well done, and I'm enjoying it a lot. Looking forward to seeing more!

Loosely based in the world of "Ocarina of Time" it includes a lot of characters from nearly the whole universe of LoZ. Quite interestingly done as well. Be warned though, more reading words over reading images in comparance to a normal manga...

Have you guys ever watched an intro to an anime and just went "Ohh I wish this actually happens!"

Some Intros are just so awesome compared to the actual show. I mean even when the show is REALLY cool the intro is still better.

It's because they always make the coolest fighting match-ups duke it out in the intros despite the fact that they are on the same team.

As for Mirai nikki, I've read about half of it and I thought it was ok. It certainly didn't even come close to my top 10, but it wasn't down in the dumps either. If you have spare time and nothing else to read I'd vote for it, but there are plenty of better shows/mangas out there that are better.

Well, if anyone wants my two cents on Mirai Nikki, I can say that it's okay-ish. Setup's quite nice (Kill each other in a battle royale and inherit the Throne of God and His powers), but it's just the background, unfortunately. Main draw is an insanely clingy, jealous and murderous girl, and the protagonist pretty much sucks and makes said girl do everything for him because he can't quite do things on his own.

Like most everyone said, the side characters are interesting enough to keep you going through, and I must say I agree with Toony with the ending, that it sucks.

I keep on cycling between animes, for a while I was into .Hack//Sign, then into the original Pokemon series, now I'm watching Sgt. Frog.
It's mostly because of Netflix though, and only being able to have so many DVDs at a time.

Ok I am still watching Fairy Tail because while I am deeply disappointed... It is still a lot better then what I have watched lately (I honestly never know what to watch, so I pick at random... and because most people like Shonen, it means I tend to pick Shonen because that is what people are talking about)

Yet It probably has the most stereotypical anime opening I ever heard now...

I REALLY wish they would remake Excell Saga and load it up with some more current anime. Its coincidental parody of Gunslinger girl before it was even made cannot sustain me.

(Yeah I will never get over that. Excell Saga has a parody that is basically a perfect parody of Gunslinger girls and how they are REALLY obvious assassins with emotional issues that make them pretty terrible at their own jobs... somehow years before the anime actually was made.)

Wish there was a Anime Parody anime... There is Lucky Star but they are reference humor, they don't parody so to speak.

I think I may have to keep track of the ways they make sure Erza is out of the fight in Fairy Tail. I have to admit they can get pretty creative.

Right now I am loving this scene where one of the characters has a deadly poison in their arm so they tell everyone they need to cut it off... And some of the characters are going "no that is too extreme there must be a way"

I am just sitting there going: "look either cure the poison, halt the poison, or lop off her arm... She is going to die if you don't do either of these. So stop treating this like a Moral Dilemma..."

Heck it is even more ridiculous since...They probably can give people new arms!
