Definitely "turns to shit" lose all hope, you will be a lot happier with the series if you just skip it entirely
I actually really liked the second season, although not as much as the first. It takes away a fair bit of tension when

That and nothing has been able to compare to the season 1 finale. I actually cried. Real tears were shed.

Don't get me wrong, I'll probably finish it at some point, but that's more due to me being a masochistic completionist than anything else. :|

The local used-media store has something called Mnemosyne for sale, which I've never heard of. The description on the back of the box sounds interesting, but it also sounds like it could easily be horribly executed, and my time (and money) is limited. Has anyone that has seen it have any feedback on it?

I haven't seen it myself, but what I've heard from others (roughly recalled) is this: The characters are fairly well done, but not as much as they could have been, the plot is interesting but falls short at the end. The sex and brutality can be jarring at times. Basically, as long as the gorn doesn't bother you, it's decent enough, but not top-notch. Comparable to Darker Than Black, at least in the sense of an interesting idea that doesn't quite reach fulfillment.

So probably worth it if you can get it for a low price, or if you're just interested for the titillation factor.

Hawkfrost has told me it's crazy.  It's only six episodes so try it why not??

Psycho Pass: yeah it was okay not the best ever but i didn't dislike it
Spoiler: a picture (click to show/hide)
Sounds better than Madoka at least.

EDIT:
Psycho Pass and Shinsekai Yori would probably be the two animes I'd watch from last season.

Accelerator seems to get some screen time in the Railgun S OP.  I hope that means they're gonna do his arc from the manga.

Here is something... They don't want the person to be able to read.

^ Wrong thread...

Shinsekai Yori, Psycho Pass, and Girls Und Panzer are the only ones I bothered to complete watching from the last season.
For this season, from the looks of it, Shingeki no Kyojin is one I may keep up with to the end.

"They cut out someone's eyes, so he can't read. They cut off his fingers, so he presumably can't read braille, either. Except surprise, you don't need your fingers to read braille."

Honestly a part of me believes there should be naming laws.

I used to have a site that made fun of terrible baby names. That would have easily got on it.

That's just... damn. I feel sorry for the kids.

I mean, wtf did they expect when they named them Eva Unit 00 and Eva Unit 01? They could've named them Cloud and Tifa or some such and the comments wouldn't be as harsh, but yeah, wtf.

I absolutely agree. People are simply just naming their kids stupid names, often due to stupid facebook dares.

This is why we can't have nice things. Hell, they could have named them Yui and Gendo, and the only people who would really notice would be people who get it. I mean, I can sort of understand people naming children after fictional characters (just look at all the people named after saints! Heh, jk), but fictional objects and places? And then not understanding why people think it's strange? o.0

Nobody would fail to understand why naming a child, say, Model T, is a bad idea, right? Right?

That's just going too far... xD

Rule #xxxx - Never name your children after anything vaguely sounding like an object.
