I tried to watch Steins;Gate ages ago but stopped a few episodes in. Tried again, wow this gets really good, only about half way in but geez.[/spoiler]
Time Travel & the folly of those who try to play God...always entertaining.
(There will be an official English version of the VN by JAST I think...but that will take forever as usual)After finishing it, check out anime adaptation of
Robotics;Notes which is currently ongoing
(set in the same universe as SG but a few years later, a certain someone also just recently showed up!). Also starts simple & slow but as usual, bits & pieces of info once again gets discovered that will inevitably lead to something larger than life...along with realizations & paranoia.
Finally finished the manga
My Girl by SAHARA Mizu, quite endearing, sweet & satisfying. Started with it a long time ago along with
YOTSUBA!,
Otaku no musume,
Usagi Drop, &
Aishiteruze Baby...pretty much all of them had the "sudden single father/guardian" theme going on even when they're pretty much different genres. Don't know how I got to that manga phase but hey, I was entertained & pretty much most of them ended nicely enough (Yotsuba's still ongoing though)...except for Otaku no musume w/c felt a bit rushed (but still ok) & Usagi Drop which for me ended while leaving a "bad after taste" (just watch the anime version!).
Also started reading
Arpeggio of Blue Steel. Sentient warships & submarines, naval combat & an interesting setting & cast...I'm sold.
I finished Parasyte. Yeah that's one of those "you're gonna sleep depressed buddy!" series. Oh well, I've slept depressed a lot.
A friend says that using the
CODE:991 (a.k.a. The MuvLuv International Standard Warning Code for "Were so f****d") as a morning alarm also doesn't help
(says "they" once slipped in his partially-awake-dream. Amusing but unpleasant.).
