I admit I like the anime Mermaid Melody.

I have some of that manga, sometimes I read it in public while my friends are around to embarass them, since apparently in today's society, mermaids who fight using the power of song aren't considered "Manly"

It is oddly one of the only Animes that stomps on the Young>Old steriotype... a lot! (well more specifically the Teen > Adult)

A lot of languages don't have an L... and some don't have a K either. (I think the language they speak in Brazil doesn't have a K... but I cannot remember). French I THINK didn't have a K either prior to influence by the English... hense why some Q words/names without Us are French.

Yes I knew that though... It is just annoying to see internet debates on if it is Rina or Lina... Just leave it as Lina and get on with your life... So I simply brought it up as a painful memory

Portuguese.

 And only in names.

 And the rules are slightly different in Brazil, but I don't think they have anything particular with K.

 Oddly enough I have never checked this thread after my initial post and my only point here is to derail the topic.

I finally finished the second season of Jigoku Shoujo, the anime i mentioned in the very first post. It was quite good, but leaves the series way open for the upcoming third season.

Now i'm trying to decide which anime i'll watch next.

I COULD finish up Last Exile, but as much as pretty much everyone talks that show up, i hate it so much. The characters are so embarrassingly stupid that it's painful to watch.

Anyone got any suggestions?
