I've finished Angel Densetsu, and I'm going to have to recommend it to everyone here who enjoys the slice-of-life/action genre.

Tnx for this, I'm watching the OVA, very entertaining for a 2 ep series. Gotta love the guy's face :/ Might check out the manga one day.

I am thinking of watching Ginga the dog anime...

But I don't know... I seen two camps for it. I am just wondering if it is good before I watch it (or at least if it is hillariously bad)

Well that Chapter was short but it was pretty good. Immediately afterwords they go to a random restaurant and BOOM another thug.

Rurouni Kenshin has official lost its mind.

I know the show has always played it loose with reality... but this is a mind bending change of events. I feel like another anime invaded my show.

Magic is real... Feng Shui (which has become magic by the way... with Feng Shui Ninjas and lightning powers) is not only real but is magical. What is this crud? I am aware the show had psychic attacks but this is just insane in the bad way.

What is worse is the show is treating it like a established fact. This is the dumbest thing I ever seen happen to an anime that wasn't dumb... and I seen someone Curve a Shuttlecock shot without creating spin

Then it counts even less because you expect insanity every single episode.

But this? What the heck is this crud? This isn't an Insane Anime proving it is Insane... This is a Sane anime just totally losing its mind.

This would be like if in Prince of Tenis one of the players turned out to be a Genie who could grant himself perfect sets using wishes.

This would be like if in Ghost in a Shell that aliens came down and wanted the Chief.

This would be like if in Bleach it turns out Aizen was Ichigo all along.

It is just bonkers! It is insane! FLCL Is insane as a premise and thus has no "insane episode" there is no episode that is so insane that it actually weakens FLCL. That is why FLCL never counts.

Has anyone experienced this before? My goodness my anime lost its mind!

Don't get me wrong Feng Suei ninjas in it of themselves are fine and in fact perfectly in line with the show. The problem is they have magical powers. They could have kept the premise and made it more subtle so you never knew if these were magical powers or not... but no MAGICAL POWERS IN KENSHIN!

Ohh my goodness... next episode and it is getting worse and worse. At least I know why Japan no longer exists... no wait THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN DAND IT KENSHIN!

Ohh my and it is vomitting all over history too... The ONLY way it can get worse is if they hint that WW2 started because of Feng Suei.

Specifically, when the martial artist and Kimiyama fight near the end.  After a dozen volumes of believably realistic stunts we get treated to an absolutely insane fantasy fight.

Also I suppose Kimiyama getting up after being shot in the head near the end counts too.  Battle Royale was pretty fun...

I was going to wait until I finished this off completely but I got to Mizuha's Bad End and decided I should ramble about Chapter 4 of G-senjou no Maou...

Nothing has happened in this chapter so there's not much to say!  It's interesting that entering Mizuha's Chapter doesn't involve falling in love with her at least.  The hostage scene was so sudden and forced it's ridiculous.  This game is ridiculous.  What the fuck.

Also Mizuha being Yuki's sister is a fucking joke.  What the fuck Akabesoft you're destroying your game pretty quickly here.  This is the most pointless chapter.

I think this is the first time Kyousuke has actually died though.

Too be honest Chapter 4 is quite short at least.  They probably realized what the fuck are they doing and stopped.  Poor Shiratori-san still gets stuck with the shittiest, craziest, pointless-iest chapter though.

This is amazingly pointless.  I don't remember the last time I was treated to something so boring it's making me crack up in how inane it is.  Definitely the worst chapter so far...or the best?


I finally finished my first Daiteikoku game too!  Yay!  That was actually good.

I happened to fight UHOS last because Moscow was just such a hard star.  After I broke that choke point though it all started to fall apart and I got treated to some really sad Katherine and Goepe scenes.  Music box songs kill me (unless they're from Maou).

So Sarah died, CORE killed everybody in Gamerica, and I decided to say Katherine was Guilty to top it all off.  Sounds like an Alicesoft first game to me.  I ended with the Emperor End which is labeled as #5 in the stats page.

I started a new game to CONQUER THE WORLD EVEN BETTER this time and there's also the CORE game mode which looks really depressing so I don't want to touch that...

Only 8 more endings to go I think?


And lastly a new fan art in the Dangan Ronpa LP thread on SA is making me crack up.  It's the best thread.

So, today I got done watching Coyote Ragtime Show. I wouldn't recommend it all that highly; it's okay, but a couple of the main characters don't have much in the way of personalities, and the ones that did didn't weren't enough to draw attention away from that fact. At least it's got some planet-hopping sci fi action and sci fi heists. I probably wouldn't have watched it if it wasn't short, and a rl friend had recommended it and I was bored. As an aside, I think Angelica has a tapeworm; there is no other way she can eat as much as she does and still have that body.

After that was done, Hulu's autoplay for some reason started playing Pumpkin Scissors. I'm glad it did, because I was bored enough to give it a try, and I'm glad I did. The name put me off before when I had seen it in the past, but it seems to have nothing to do with pumpkins or scissors, other than it being the name of their unit for some reason. It seems to be a military intrigue show, kind of like Fullmetal Alchemist (and about that level of technology, minus the alchemy, of course), with a little bit of mysterious fantasticness going on, with great characters, great voice-acting, great writing (from what I've seen). I'm definitely looking forward to watching more of it (which isn't something I could have said of Coyote Ragtime Show) to see how this all plays out.

On episode 9 of the original Evangelion now.I had seen "bits" of it at friend's houses many years ago and keep getting de-ja-vu in some episodes. At the time it was new, the snippets I saw of it didn't interest me that much. Of course, i'm checking it out because of all the praise it gets.

Hmm, so far the show's not really wowing me. Maybe I had too-high expectations. I was hoping for more of an over-arching episode-to-episode plot-line and less monster-of-the-week. Also, i'm finding the attempts at the comedy side of things aren't so great. I hope the fabled "psychological" stuff to come doesn't just boil down to Shinji being all emo all the time.
