High-res sprriiiitesss
I haven't played Chicken Divers or Rain Dancers but I'm like 3-4 hours into the MLU Days After one. Nothing much has really happened yet beyond introducing the people and what's going on.
From my understanding the JFK carrier was heading to Hawaii with some other navy after stopping by Yokohama Base which they called
Opearation Operation Blue Ocean when a tsunami struck and they ended up wrecked in a salt field somewhere between Hawaii and Australia. The sea level has dropped significantly after all.
This takes place in May of 2004 I think? I'd need to check the date again exactly. However, it has been over three years since Alternative V activated. And this is the MLU universe so Takeru should be somewhere...wait no he wouldn't. Takeru remembers he died two years after AlterV activated in MLA. Darn. :[
Our
new MC Wilbert Collins is an American and part of the Knives squad along with Daryl 'Big Mama' McManthus(SIC) and are like, the only two TSF Eishi on the JFK. When the game starts the two of them pick up a relay signal from Lilia who was shipwrecked for five days and she's a American TSF Eishi too.
There's also the Brigade General Alston(SIC) who's probably the top guy on JFK. There's also Mel(can't remember their full name) who is an Indian or Arabian I think? They ended up as a refuge in Australia and were discriminated against. Seems to envy Americans. They're a technical engineer.
BETA can't reach where the JFK crashed so this probably won't have any. Darn x2!
...And that's about it for me. Nothing has really happened since we picked up Lilia. Will is a goofball though. It's weird when Takeru isn't the MC...
The art seems to have improved dramatically, sometimes. A few sprites look odd but otherwise it should be an improvement. Age have had four years since MLA. This came out in 2010.
Haven't tried Chicken Diver or Rain Dancers yet but the OP is pretty awesome. Overall I have no idea why any Muv-Luv fan would skip out on this...except that's it's not in English yet. We can only hope. I would like a quick reread on some foggy details.
Anyway onto the weird one.
REAL DIFFICULTY
These guys are like a step above generics. They're not numbers but their eyes and mouths don't move.
Here comes the fun one:
HEX STRATEGY GAME
It's actually pretty fun. Navigating the menus is a bit difficult if you don't know what you're doing though.
