Well yeah, nosleep Toony who has just finished a 30~ hour VN late at night is very angry and argumentative.  I don't think I care anymore after sleeping.

In good news Inganock finally works so I can play this finally.  (no I'm not a bad enough dude to play the Muv-Luv trilogy :[)

EDIT:
Also I'm caught up with Historie.  Like, I can't say it's as awesome as Vinland Saga but I think they're published in the same magazine and Hox translate both so getting both near the same time is a nice bonus/extra.

Hullo anime thread. I don't typically visit here as I mostly watch giant robot junk (and toradora recently, oddly enough) and I haven't seen many discussions about it recently.

But this was hilarious enough that I thought it was worth throwing it in.

I am laughing so hard I can't see send help

20th Century Boys taught me real-life mecha are impossible.

20th Century Boys taught me real-life mecha are impossible.

Hardly we have a few now. They just arn't used for the same reasons they are used in most anime (mostly they are used to navigate areas that simply do not allow tracks or wheels). So it depends in what form you are refering to.

Though most series justify mechs by outright stating or implying that the physics involved are different.

For example in Battletech mechs are in fact the most efficient design of vehicle as told by their laws of physics. Other types of vehicles exist but due to how physics applies they are rather sensative to critical failure.

Wow you took that seriously?  Manga taught me you can dodge bullets if you train enough.

To be fair it's not a giant like 60 ton bipedal robot so much as a hefty thick armored powered exoskeleton thing (Kind've like the Full Metal Panic! robots in the manga), but still.

Dodge?  Some anime teach you can catch bullets if you train enough.

Or at the very least, parry them. With daggers.

Manga says when you're ready, you won't have to.

Or was that some guy who's name started with M? Oh well~

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.
