Rebuild 2.0 actually did a pretty good job with the English dialogue. Except for Kaji.

Ohh my nothing in anime makes me smile more then failed attempts at making an english speaking character (as in a native english speaker).
I think the only example I've ever seen of this was in Samurai Champloo, wherein an American guard ordered someone to "Hureeze!"

I certainly got a chuckle out of it.

You know what's even more fun is if a series uses a completely fictional language that all the characters talk in and you are sort of forced to learn a bit about *cough* Eien no Aselia *cough*.

That sounds like a horrible idea

Area 88 has tower calls and the like in English (which is fairly standard for aviation in general.) It's pretty bad.

I can't stop listening to Higanbana's Kuraki Kuraki Yami wa Tsuki o Seni (暗き昏き闇は月を背に).  This is such a good soooongg.  Probably my favorite along with Furukiashiki (フルキアシキ).

EDIT:
Speaking of music the Berserk movie's OP song Aria is awesome.  The same composer who did the NGE anime and Rebuild movie music does the Berserk music so it's not too surprising!!

I assume you've heard Sign? Goddamn amazing stuff. I want to see what this guy can pull out for the next movie.

I've been enjoying this series blasphemy against all things Lovecraft far too much. I think it's time to admit to myself that I like terrible humor.

Every time someone reminds me that this exists, a child dies someone in the world from my hate.

There was a new Berserk chapter today too.  Master 'Zodd' Hawkfrost.

EDIT:
Speaking of which, I'm on volume 4 of Vinland Saga.  This is an awesome series.  TOO MANY THINGS TO DO

Well, I know what I am doing then. Thanks mate.
Though I guess as Zodd I should be throwing you through a building as a sign of appreciation.

I never heard Sign before, great song.  This PS2 game looks pretty cool, too bad it's almost certainly Japan-only?

Yeah, Japan only.
The game plays as a hack n' slashly Devil May Cry sort of thing, only with a huge slow weapon from what I've seen of it.
For once it doesn't take place in the Golden Age which is nice to see.

Okay so Rebuild of Evangelion is getting substantially more impressive (and less similar to the original series) as it goes on. The Ramiel fight is way cooler with the new special effects.

Ontop of rewatching Future Boy Conan, I've taken to rewatching Godannar! Goddamn it just makes me feel hotblooded just watching it. It's also like the only case I can think of where the prolific and shameless fan service and sex appeal applied to literally every single character actually significantly improves the dynamic of the show. It's fun rewatching the show and then taking the time to spot how each each character's existence is to fit into some oddly specific sexual niche. Even all the minor characters too, they fit into lesser, more obscure niches, and it's nuts just how much fun the design team must have had putting that all together.

It's also just such a fun show to watch period, hammering out the first 8 eps no problem. Also, with how exaggerated manly and energetic the show is, it pumps me up for exercise workouts that I've been getting into, and the epic music, full of encouraging and inspiring pieces, just compounds that feeling many times over. I'm surprised I haven't watched this as many times as I have Gurren Lagann.
