Oh my god the last two episodes of Eva were terrible. I was not aware it was possible to end such a good anime so poorly, but they managed to do it in a way that was incredibly boring and offered the least possible closure.

Please tell me EoE fixes this.

Something that actually resolves all the plot points that got brought up, maybe? There were all these conspiracies and different people screwing around with each other and all these plans that were going to fuck with things then suddenly all that doesn't matter, let's have contextless introspection for forty minutes and then end the series.

Don't get me wrong, I'm fine with character development and getting all depressed, but I like to have some context and plot to it. Not just wandering around in Shinji's dreamland listening to him get sad.

Some more robot fights would be cool too.

Going through Desert Punk again. On the one hand, it has some pretty standard juvenile humor, but somehow there is just something adorable about it. That and it is nice and short.

I enjoyed Desert Punk. I don't know ebout adorable, but I did find it entertainingly funny.

Adorable probably isn't the word. (Except for Kosuna.) Sort of a little niche with just the right mix of seriousness, absurdity, and humor that just worked really well.

Chp. 1 - SCREEEEEEEE

Chp. 2 - Oh, I just flattened a fish with... wait what?

Chp. 3 - Fly away, sweet little fishy in the garbage bag balloon~

Chp. 4 - Everything's worse with bears sharks. Especially ones that have legs.

Chp. 5 - It Returns.

Chp. 6 - You should know better than to poke something alien with your own finger.

Chp. 7 - FishyMcLegs' Legs are operated by gas pressure and are synthetically fused to them, instead of being evolved? What? Oh, and severed hand spiders.

Chp. 8 - A wild Wheezer girlfriend appears!

Chp. 9 - Lo, and behold! A mighty beast, fell and terrible, has appeared! Too bad its conveyance is too darned weak to handle its own weight! Oh, and another shark appears. GASHUNK GASHUNK.

Chp. 10 - Protagonist guy and his Wheezer GF manage to narrowly escape the gigantic shark of doom, by climbing his uncle's house's gate. A few pages later, he gets dragged by one large tentacle horror as he searches for something. Fortunately, the tentacle snaps, dropping him in a pit. Unfortunately, he fell in a pit full of fish corpses and the like. Good luck, man.

Chp. 11 - Uhh, so yeah, Protagonist guy still appears to be in the storm drain, and when he wakes up, he sees a bunch of stench resembling spirits, grabbing at him.

Then boom he wakes up. One month after. Okay...

Oh, and Wheezer girl looks a lot less of a Wheezer and more of an Arachnotron/Spiderdemon now.

Chp. 12 - Uncle, you sick son of a b*tch! Not only did you tie poor Protagonist's GF in that walker thay you revealed to have been your own design, you even made an on-off switch to pump her up with gas as if she was a bellows! You totally deserved that stab in the chest. :<

Chp. 13 - Naked fat guys in mechanical gas-operated walkers! Also, Ouch, having tubes inserted into your rear and your mouth. It feels almost like rape. D:

Chp. 14 - And I thought that was bad... A mass of naked gas-pump humans on a single walker appears. It then integrates a lone infectee next to our hero, by way of spectral arms. So yeah, the presence of the dead has been confirmed.

HWOHH LO-LO-LO-LO HWEHH LI-LI-LI-LI BOOM-CHA BOOM-CHA

Chp. 15 - I swear, the text sound effects are getting sillier and sillier as the story progresses.

Oh, and it so happens that our hero discovers, and enters a circus tent, full of you probably know what. Chaos ensues.

Chp. 16 - Aaaaaagh! Soylent Gas is demons! Or maybe ghosts. Dead, angry, ghosts.

Oh, and Protagonist guy manages to capture Kaori (The Wheezer GF, whom I will not name as such anymore.)

Chp. 17 - Our hero drags Kaori back to the lab, after deciding that pulling the tubes off of her mouth and butt would be too risky and dangerous. He returns, only to hear from his creepy uncle's assistant that said creepy uncle died. As if it wasn't obvious a few pages ago.

Then suddenly, during the tube removal operation of Kaori, GONN from outta f*ckin' nowhere! "It sounded like it was from lab #2' which was where creepy uncle wanted to go during the time he was dying.

This does not sound good.

Chp. 18 - What's worse than spiders? Flying spiders! Good luck trying to beat that gas blimp uncle of yours!

Chp. 19, Final Chapter - So, in the end, blimp uncle's blimp gets blasted by a circus cannon, but he has backup wings, that sneaky thief, so he gets to escape. Kaori gathers up everyone in an attempt to draw the other monsters away, or to commit suicide? And our hero meets up with a few people who speculate that they're immune to the infection.

Nice story overall, although I find it hard to take seriously with its almost Batman-ish text sounds or whatever you call it.

I finally got around to finishing Avatar. I can't really find anything bad to say about the series, it was A-grade material all around.

Though I will admit I didn't really understand the crisis of morality Aang had about killing the Fire Lord. Was everyone supposed to pretend that he hadn't been killing Fire Nation soldiers the entire run of the show?

 Technically he hasn't killed anyone, beating the shit out of them yes but never mortal wounds. Gotta remember he was raised a monk and he embraced their beliefs so he wasn't gun ho on a path of destruction.
