Some people may find this funny, but I recently finished the first season of Pretty Cure. All 49 eps.

I'd only watch them one at a time, when I'd sit down to eat and when I'd have time. Over the course of a couple months, hey, I finished it. If anyone wants a magical girl show that requires no thought or emotional investment whatsoever, yet is still goofy and has it's fun moments, it's there.

I've been meaning to finish the first season of PreCure, but I ran out of steam at around ep 3 because stuff. Too much stuff to read/watch/play, especially when I'm trying to get better at M&B multiplayer.

I started to watch JesusOtaku on thatguywiththeglasses, she has a show called Inbetweener. She seem to only done one show with it, and that was Trigun. And I already liked Trigun a fair amount, but she made me like it a lot more, showed me more ways to appreciate the series.

Chapter 189 of TWGOK marks the end of the Goddess Capture Arc. Finally, it's over.

Not that it's bad or anything, but it's refreshing to see something end after it's been going on for quite a while.

read it too, from the last panel I can presume the next arc will be something like the: "Free yourself from the collar and get one steady girl" *arc*.

“Do something!” she whispered, trying to keep her sight on all of them at once.

I've liked most the anime I've seen that hasn't been based around romance or fightin' or fanservice. (or some combination thereof)

Which admittedly isn't many.

True. I'm finding a good anime that only has little amounts of fighting, bearable amount of fanservice, and little romance, and still haven't found anything with the above, excluding Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X, which had next to no sexy fanservice, which I appreciated but had lots of fighting (which is forgiven given that it's awesome), Cowboy Bebop, which had slightly lesser amounts of fighting than thinking, and relatively tame on the fanservice scale (Faye is an exception), and Kaminomi/TWGOK, which has lots of romance tropes (which are lampshaded here and there), and is also relatively tame on the fanservice scale.

Checking this post, this has a lot of 'which's, but I can't be bothered to fix it, because my brain cells aren't working.

There's a reason why I've enjoyed pretty much everything Miyazaki has put out. :P

In when there's a 'love' story involved, it's not really... the same. I do agree that despite the premise, Cowboy Bebop does a good job of not being based around any of those - probably why I like it.

This reminds me, I need to watch Steam Detectives, if not for the show, then only for the nostalgia itself. Used to see it on AXN, but never paid attention to it (was a kid back then).

Oh, and I absolutely forgot about Miyazaki. Shame on me.

Yeah that's why I've hittin' up on more stuff than just anime.  I think I've really gotten all the good stuff that's easy to get to already.  Besides a select few I've been meaning to do, the only ones that can catch my interest are new ones.

This is actually becoming a problem with VNs for me now.  I've done a ton and I'm really just grasping for gems or looking at ones I want to do from the side...  I have a whole list of series I'd like to play on VNDB but they're all untranslated which makes me want to learn kanji.

EDIT:
My manga list is still pretty huge.  I've got a lot to read which is nice.  I've been kind of ditching my waiting list.  I'm not caught up in a lot of stuff I really like like Railgun, TWGOK, and Tower of God.  I have no idea why besides the fact these long haul readings I've been doing make me want to wait so I actually can read the series I really like for an hour.  (late late edit:  I'm one chapter behind on Ubel Blatt but there's no download link for it by the scanlators which is stupid)

Still want to read the Index and Baccano LNs...

Probably the most well-done AMV I have seen. Plus anything Nichijou is awesome by default.

Does anyone other then me REALLY hate those side episodes that take place in another dimension basically?

I don't know what it is called... but the art style shifts and what happens is entirely unrelated to anything (For example it could just be a nursery rhyme with the characters from the show instead of the respective characters).

I am fighting my urge to skip them because I am completionist but man is it killing me.

They are just so out of place with a continuity forcused serious anime... If this was a Comedy I'd be fine (Heck Excell Saga did this a few times and I was fine)

Prince of Tennis goes bowling? NOOO!!!

I already seen how they handle sports that arn't Tennis.

Its like a collection of everything I don't like in Prince of Tennis in one place.

Also Leafsnail I like Prince of Tennis (somewhat, it isn't great or anything... mostly because of the limited animation budget and how absolutely predictible it can be and its boring invincible hero) I just hate this small collection of episodes.

Pretty much everything you have to say about anything is hatred and complaining, though. As far as we can tell, you might as well be a closet anime hater who's hell-bent on proving himself otherwise.
