Dangan Ronpa is so awesome.  I'm probably a third into chapter 2 now and no where near stopping.  So addicting.

I already read this yesterday but I can't believe Chihiro was the victim this time.  It's so sad.  I especially liked Sakura and Ishimaru's reactions to it.  ;_;

Also I just read this conversations:
The files I were always most interested in were case files for unsolved crimes from the police.
Since I was a child, I always found them fascinating.
They are excellent exercise for the brain. Through the years, I even managed to solve more than one or two of them.

All of the characters in this are amazing too. 

Togami is an insane smug asshole
Ishimaru is the coolest bro ever
Fuwaka is a multiple personality serial killer called GENOCIDER SYO


A few other characters are more background-ish so far but are still cool none-the-less

Also Chapter 2 was a lot better than Chapter 1 (besides Naegi's reaction to how the murder ended up happening) and the culprit in Chapter 2 was so damn tragic.  At least in Chapter 1 Leon didn't have too much motivation besides Maizono going for it first.

Either way, Chapter 2 also ended with it revealing one of the surviving students is actually a mole by Monobear to stir things up, oh dear.

Rest in peace Oowada, also Chihiro too.

I finished Ghibli's My Neighbors the Yamadas, which is an amazingly charming slice of life movie, involving many short skits rather than a large plot.

I also slammed through all of Gambling Emperor Legend Zero.

What. I can't believe this cliffhanger, I swear.

I do like how the manga pushes the importance of math so much. Like, SO MUCH! Where psychology is dominant in alot of this author's works, not this one, just fucking math saves the day. Get good at it, and you're a golden god.

A younger Kaiji-esque character who is also a mathematical prodigy combats an evil theme park constructed by an expy of Hyoudou, who is somehow significantly more psychotic and has big flappy, comical cheeks. The prize? ONE TRILLION YEN! Also, world's most determined idiots willing to throw themselves into harms way for money they'll never get to see.

Been catching up in the Kaiji manga. I didn't think it would, but Mahjong now comprises so much of my manga and anime, it's unbelievable, and I'm now only starting to get the hang of it thanks to the author's notes.

In other news, I've been continuing to watch Gundam AGE. Apparently, the second-generation protagonist is not a space psychic, even though his father was. Asem is seriously taking after his mother, he's even the silver medal in the love triangle right now. Doesn't help that his rival is a supah powahful spess psychic.
