After finding the two 9 doors we went back and found Seven and Lotus saying Clover disappeared (like Snake who was probably MURDERED) so we all split up and search the place over because we can't abandon a friend.  I split up with June a bit later on and head down the elevator to the E deck, lo and behold LOTUS IS DEAD STABBED IN THE CHEST

I think the culprits are....

Ace and Seven.  Now that I'm playing my second playthrough I'm up to around when Snake will disappear (and then be found murdered).

Now.

It's quite obvious Seven has been sticking objects into doors to keep them open.  Why you ask?  It's so the culprit(s) can sneak back into previous rooms and grab stuff.

Stuff like bracelets.

The 9th man's bracelet.

When everybody is looking for a way to power the 3,7,8 doors Ace sneaks back through the room Seven leaves open.  He grabs the 9 bracelet and goes to find Snake.  After telling Snake that he needs to show him something or whatever way he coaxes him to the 3rd door, makes him activate it, activates his and the 9th bracelet, and then tosses the blind man into the 3rd door before he can get back out.

1+9+2=12   1+2=3

Ace is the killer.
Seven is an accomplice.

If for some reason Junpei goes in door 4 at the beginning this makes Ace's job even easier.  Since he goes through door 5 during that route he can just grab the 9th bracelet at some point without Seven helping him.


Seven says he has amnesia but his compulsion to keep doors open is very suspicious.  Ace meanwhile is scary as hell.  Mostly because he seems so trusting but if my truth is correct then OH GOG he could totally Damon Gant out

I've already seen the 9th man die, Snake die, and Lotus die (all in person) so far.  Clover has gone missing but I never saw a body.  The 9th man, Snake, and Lotus are most likely innocent even if Lotus is suspicious.

Why was Snake the first target you ask?  It might be because the culprit(s) just needed to kill somebody and Snake is the easy target being blind and all.

It might also be because of some personal background.  Snake seems quite educated and might be important in some way.

It's kind of sad really.  :[


I'm going to try going through the 3 door first after Snake 'disappears' and see what happens.

Oh, and lastly.

Snake left a dying message before exploding.  It was 'L L R' if I remember correctly.  Too bad in my Bad End Junpei never makes any connection eh?  This is most likely false.  Seven pointed out with his mad Dexter blood analyst skills.  I won't let that happen again!

This route I chose seems to focus on Seven and Lotus a lot.  It went over how Seven is a cop and coincidentally saved Lotus' twin daughters nine years ago when 16 children were kidnapped.  Aoi, Light, and Nona were named.  Nona is one of Lotus' daughters.

So, I'm having problems with the torrented clannad episodes.
For one thing, they stutter like crazy.
Two, they skip backwards a minute or two in. This is probably because I have to run them through VLC or something.EDIT: it does so conveniently at the end of every scene.

Screw it, I'll just watch it on youtube if it's going to give me this much trouble.

Both of the [MII] releases use ordered chapters. It's a feature of the mkv container that allows one mkv to link to another seamlessly in playback. In this case, the OP and ED have been cropped out of every episode, and separate OP and ED files have been added that link to the episodes automatically. It saves about 100-400mb per episode depending on the show. The only downside is that it breaks compatibility on most players (especially VLC, actually), causing playback to loop back to the beginning at the end of the first regular chapter.

One solution to install a player setup that supports them. The easiest to install is CCCP, as it automatically installs and sets up a player (MPC-HC) and codecs that will play anything fansub groups release, including mkvs with ordered chapters and hi10p encodes. They also have another program (Insurgent) that will clean up any codecs currently installed that could potentially conflict with a CCCP install.

Alternatively just remove the OP and ED files from the folder for the time being. Obviously the episodes will no longer have them, but it will save you the trouble of doing any of the shit listed above.

I liked the last few episodes a lot.

Still working through Ghost Hunt, on the last arc now. The doll or church arc were my favorites. I'm not terribly fond of Mai or Naru though.

EDIT: Finished Ghost Hunt. Doll and Church arc are still my favorites. I still don't like Mai or Naru that much. Mai is exceptionally aggravating in the last arc.
