I love anime because I love a good story. I really do. Best animes for me so far are Trigun, Darker than Black, Claymore, and Black Lagoon. I do have to say that I would have loved to have seen more Claymore episodes made.

I really need to see Berserk. People keep talking about it.

Everybody is talking about Berserk, and all I can see about it is lots and lots of blood and 1 really freaking huge sword. Seems pretty cool.

So finished book 4 today.  I'm on book 5 of Suzumiya Haruhi now...from what I can see this is where things start getting funky.  I see Endless Eight and The Day of Sagittarius but then is that Snow Mountain Syndrome I spy?!

I'm not sure about the anime, but the Berserk manga also features a lot of character development, psychological, um, stuff, and generally interesting everything.

And also lots and lots of blood and a huge sword.

I'm watching the first series of Higurashi- Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. It's good, but it's confusing, and it's terrifying. I just finished the first two chapters, the first where Keiichi goes insane and Rena-chan is a creepy fucker, and the second where Mion goes insane.

For me the Higurashi VNs were just okay at first but around game 5+ is when things start getting pretty awesome.  Although skipping to the later arcs is a huge no-no because you...just don't do that.  It removes all the fun of it.

Also happens to have some of the coolest and most detailed scans of any manga I've ever seen.

Its setting is basicaly low fantasy medieval, also very, very grimdark.

And he got all that badassery without any kind of superpowers. No magic, no glowing balls of DRAGUN BALLz LOL, just sheer bitter rage combined with a pretty fucked up childhood.

He's basicaly manga batman without the unlimited disposable income. Thats how badass he is.

Dragonball: Evolution is not.

Did you expect anything else from a live-action anime adaption? (Okay so I heard that the Death Note movies were decent, but still. Sturgeon's Law.)

I actually found Dragonball: The Magic Begins to be a hilarious movie to watch, especially if you've got the right people with you.

Mao is okay, but isn't as interesting as a protagonist as Raspberyl would have been.
