I've been playing Turnabout Scapegoat for a little bit now.  So far, pretty damn cool.  The custom sprite work is nice and I just got this guy...

With netflix I just watched season 1 of High School of the dead...

I liked it, and I wouldn't normally complain, but the amount of "fanservice" was excessive and overall detracted from an otherwise serious zombie show.

Yeah Turnabout Scapegoat is ridiculous all the way but amazing.  And unlike almost every other fancase I've played it has no arbitrarily hard bits (such as timed memory games, super-objections, stupidly long testimonies, branch-then-present, fake lose screens, sadistic press branching, press in order, unlimited red herring works...)!

Plus VV has a damn cool theme.

Well I think the anime and sound drama have completely different soundtracks.  The anime has its own composer anyway...

I thought the sound drama was part of Return to Zero. The song I linked to was from the Fate / Zero soundtrack. I thought that meant that that music was going to be in the anime.

I didn't hear that theme in that episode, but it was pretty good, regardless. Kirei Kotomine in particular is terrifying.

While I would say that the fanservice was probably intentional as part of the parody.

Frankly it is what I call "Half-parody" in that it was probably part of the comedy... but they probably banked on it adding fanservice anyway.

Between the two shows I watched that I felt were weakened by anime... Only one of them was any good. (Ghost in a Shell was good... but boy did the fanservice turn me off. Marchen Awakens Romance was bad but honestly I really wish someone would watch the second last battle in the series. Honestly it is possibly the most disturbing fanservice I've seen in a show that wasn't eichi, to the point where it was just outright creepy.)
