So, I just found out that something that looks like a SEQUAL to Porco Rosso is being made! Why am I finding this out now?!

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1714067/

Literal first thought upon seeing that: "Yesssss.....! "

It's a little bit weird though seeing as how the original came so long ago, and I thought it felt alittle incomplete, despite how badass it was.

I mean, the original came out in 1992, so it's been awhile.

It was a mistranslation, apparently. The comments on that IMDB page seem to say the same.

Man volume 11 of Gunslinger Girl was crazy.  This can only get better.

Also, all of the fans are being hit with a multitude of substances that ought not to be spread around by a set of rotational blades undergoing an angular velocity.

I swear the volume covers are getting eviler and bloodier.  I'm around 2/3 caught up now or something?  It's definitely a pretty good series.

Well, I guess it's time to follow the leader and read Gunslinger Girl too.

What manga hosting websites do you guys use? (if this is against forum regulations, don't answer this.)

Umineko knows exactly what Folk themes are absolutely awsome!

I WANT to link Coral Q's theme but honestly it has two versions... and without knowing the lyrics there is just no point.

You mean this one? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9ZPpfP_rpU

No I actually mean this

The full redone version. The song is hillarious when you sort of know what the lyrics are given that it is a parody. As awsome as that version is, there is none that has that AND subs. Though there is debate if this version or the original is more funny. Given that Coral Q sounds like Dexter and his book holder actually looks like Dexter.

Also your version is only the 1st part of a 3 part song. So yeah...

Though the Duet version (fanmade) is close. but not all the parts are subbed. Only the parts both the remake and the original had.

Song versions in spoilers...

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

It is probably a lot funnier to someone who saw it happen in the series. Judging by the fact that I am so over it now.

I've completed the second half of Angel Beats. I'd highly recommend it to anyone, it's probably my favorite anime now. Spoilers below.

What anime is the 'kick reason to the curb' phrase from? I recall it coming from a famous-ish one, and now it seems it stands a chance of becoming my class' motto.

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.
