Actually Kira does it because of a god complex and the second he believed he was "In the clear" his murders became less and less researched to the point where he was likely murdering perfectly innocent people. He wasn't really doing anything with the any pretense of "good" behind it except in lip service.

Though ignoring that he is often killing people who are already paying for their crimes or where their crime had so many questions that they may not have actually done it, I've heard of people falsly accused of morbid crimes where everyone thought it was them before, meaning Kira was knowingly risking the murder of innocents. Better yet many of the crimes he murdered for were sometimes not even violent.

Kira was individually reversing all the progress the law had made until then especially for Japan (this wasn't... lets say a place where Capital Punishment was legal. This was Japan where it is illegal to even use a gun on a non-violent criminal)

There is no ambiguity there. His motivations are flawed, his method is flawed, the effect is negative... That is without going into the other things he did.

Though the fact that I don't believe in murdering criminals may help a bit in understanding why I think that.

Quote
You then learn that an "entity" known as Kira kills him afterwards, wouldn't you rejoice? It might not be politically correct(which is clearly shown in the manga) but people would definitely cheer him on!

Not me. I don't believe that revenge is a viable emotion that should be enacted. As well from what I understand a lot of people who "want revenge" want some form of nebulous revenge done by someone else not infront of their eyes. If they watch the death they want it to be clean.

As well the people who "cheered him on" weren't people with genuin loss or who knew people who suffered loss. They were mostly teens who were bullied, or who were bullies, who would like nothing better then the idea that those who made them suffer should probably die. The fact that I was hearing this from people who would later write the laws, rather then the crazy nuts, was what I disliked.
-Not to mention they were fully in support of EVERYTHING he did.

I don't think anybody likes Bleach.

An interesting exercise is to read the latest chapter of Bleach and see if you can understand ANYTHING.  When I did this if I picked any two consecutive panels there was about a 60% chance I wouldn't be able to see the connection between them (not to mention that everyone looked the same, no backgrounds, situation made no sense etc).  Truly the ultimate troll work.

Man, I want a Kaiji Pachinko Machine.
I'm pretty sure there's an advert for one at the end of one of the episodes.  I think it's modified to be possible though.

And in terms of Death Note, I watched it regarding Kira as the villain.

Why Vegeta?  Short, angry, violent, proud, isolated, aggressive and competitive, preternaturally good at fighting compared to most of the other elementary schoolers, and when I get really angry veins bulge in the middle of my forehead.

And a title somewhat like "prince of nothing" was in fact stunningly accurate of my behavior and outlook at that age.

I used to watch/read Bleach when I was young, but stopped eventually. Getting back to it and reading is impossible now, as it makes absolutely no sense at all if you try to compare things by a single chapter.

Thank heavens for TVTropes for those... longrunners... Bleach isn't worth half of a year's reading IMO.

I think only the first season or so of the Bleach anime is good.  The series had a "point" at the time.  It had moments that mattered to the viewer and the characters on the screen.  Like this quote:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
But after that, with all the filler seasons, how long it took to get anything done, and how Aizen proceeded to really mess things up... it fell apart.

<.<  I understood every bit of it...  perhaps not in 100% detail, like when they are fiddling with their weapons on super-small panels, but by the panel after those I understand what those panels meant.

Bleach died off after the first main arc (Save teh Rukia) for me, but I still keep up with the manga out of boredom. It's not really good for my health, but meh.

Yeah, that's what I was referencing. One does have to wonder though if a person that didn't know about the show, they'd be pretty leery to play a machine that has "Gambling Apocalypse" written in large letters right on it.

Bleach is easy to understand if you connect your thinking to how the anime works.

Which is basically fanfiction.

Maybe he means Sekirei. I remember that while reading the manga...I actually got desensitized with seeing boobs, since they're frickin' everywhere all the time like they're part of the everyday scenery. That realization horrified me and I needed to stop for a while...

Just saw Fate ZERO ep5...just keeps getting better and better. Mirai Nikki ep3 was also nice, a certain "scene" actually freaked me out and gave me goosebumps even when I've already read the manga. Been a long time since any scary movie actually did that for me.

Extra Info: Someone told me that F/Z's Caster's VA is actually Big Bird in Japanese Sesame Street.......that explains a lot of things...
