Funny enough my viewpoint is the complete opposite of Neonivek's.  I'd rather you play it by yourself, at night, in the dark.  Because I've already played quite a bit and it's more for just relaxing exploring...generally...

Yeah we really do have opposite viewpoints. I can't imagine playing the game being fun without heavy use of the walkthrough.

I finished watching Nichijou, and I have to say that it is a truly wonderful series.

It's a slice of life/comedy that is easily that best thing I've seen in a very long time, and easily rivals Azumanga Daioh in the same genre. It has some of the most bombastic and hilarious skits I've ever seen, and the music is amazing catchy. The characters are all amazingly interesting and not a single line of dialogue is wasted when it comes to delivering the short but awesome skits that the show is comprised of.

I literally can't recommend this highly enough.

On an unrelated subject..

Kurau: Phantom Memory has a certain music track (I do not know it's name) which brings involuntary tears to my eyes.
Kind of annoying when you are just going to show someone some good Anime's only to have that mustic start playing.
Luckily noone has seen me "cry" yet.

Yep spoilers in the first episode.  The anime was based on a game, so the creator didn't want to just start where ep 2 takes place to ensure fans of the game knew it really is based on Gungrave.  The first episode timelinewise is probably around episode 15-16?  I can't remember.  It's best to just skip it and start with episode 2.  You won't need to watch it either, it's pretty much the exact same ep as one of the later ones.
