Welp, having taken the suggestions into account and remembering a couple more, my list apparently looks roughly like this.

Taking into account only the anime, it will take slightly short of a full 7 days of non-stop watching to get through all this, which is ignoring things like End of Evangelion and possibly the Ghost in the Shell movies. I think this will last me a while.

From what I understand, it is not a particularly happy story. While in in a different way (as I understand it), neither are Narutaru or Bokurano. Or Evangelion, but that shifts more into "confusing" than "depressing" in the end, at least as far as the anime goes. Movie might be different.

So yes, I am aware of despair in my future. My suffering shall be wonderful.

Maybe I should read Saikano too. I'm hoping the angst isn't too intense. I have no clue what it's about, my only knowledge being from here and an advertisement on the back of some other manga, so it should be fun.

I am really getting tired on how some series handle money.

They either never have enough money, even though they should be millionairs, or they suddenly have too much after being practically destitute.

Jem's (not anime) episode 60 has both too much and too little in one episode! First Starlight music company starts losing money with Pizzazz despite releasing sold out concerts and CDs (selling even better then Jem did), Then Jem magically fixing her company with a single concert.

So here is the game today

An Anime where the characters are either
A) Have a LOT less money then they reasonably would
B) Have a lot more money then they reasonably should
or
C) Both!

Team Rocket from Pokemon.
They keep getting loans from banks and Giovanni... Who would loan them anything? and why is the paycheck of the loser team so big?

Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko (testing) - Huh, that one's just weird. Will need a couple more episodes before I can decide.
Blue Exorcist (testing) - Looks like glorified shonen to me. Will probably drop it.
Oreimo (testing) - Interesting. Anything featuring otaku-culture is irresisitable for me.

New episode of TWGOK was great, very atmospheric and *gasp* slight hints of character development on our beloved main character.

Huh. Never bothered paying much attention to the animation of that scene before, but they do a remarkably good job syncing the finger motions on the guitars to the music. That's kind of nifty. They must have used footage of people actually playing the song for reference.

Some producers do an amazing job for their in-anime music...

I actually like Lost My Music more then God Knows.

Then again I did see the best Fandub of both (the BEST ONE... it is even better then the official english dub) so I am a bit biased.

I think theres a fair amount of wizardry going on in this thread. Because my download of the haruhi blurays (I watched it when it aired) literally just finished and the first thing I done was jump straight to the band scene to see how it looked.

I'm most of the way through Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann at the moment.  I don't generally care for mecha animes, but this one manages to poke my humor center in just the right way.
