Neon Genesis Evangelion: Depressingly awesome. Was never a fan of giant robots, but this show changed my mind. I like the characters (despite their flaws) and how they (the kids) try to cope with being pilots of asshuge robots that kill giant diamond things and giant monsters and stuff. Its interesting to see Shinji's mental problems (I'm not so sure what he has yet, it's too early in the series and I'm no psychoanalyst or whatever) I do have to wonder, though. Is there some unspoken rule amongst mecha pilots that they have to be mentally (and emotionally) unbalanced to the point of their being a potential safety hazard?

Another one: What is LCL? Is it reduced baby souls or something? Knowing Gendo Ikari and what he'll do to ensure he's ahead, I wouldn't be surprised. >_>

Love Hina: As I said before, I try to set my brain to the 'off' position when I watch this. It's harmless fun, and although I'm not a fan of harem anime, I need something a little lighthearted to distract me from all the dreary stuff I've been reading/watching/playing/writing. Why the fuck does that turtle thing fly? Is it some sort of demon or something?

It's Mi.... Uhm. The one chick who isn't Mitsune/"Kitsune" that has an M name that is ditsy. It's her familiar, basically.

In other news... They say (Other internet peoples) that a show called Puella Magi Madoka Magica is apparently the NGE of Magical Girl animes and that it's fucked up as all hell...

I may need to check that out...

Also, who do you prefer as a character, Rei or Asuka (take in mind that I'm only on episode 8, watched a part of episode nine [Asuka's telling Rei they should be friends of convenience], so don't spoiler me plz bro)?

I love Asuka's character. You really get to see what her whole character is like, why she acts the way she does, etc. Bitchiness isn't a plus, but I can get where she's coming from. If Shinji was even the tiniest bit more like Kaji, she'd be acting WAY different.

That said, I really like Rei's character as well. It's just that...  *censored for everything spoilers*.

My favorite character is 1000% Gendo, though.

Mah avatar is a nice little girl named Alfimi, from Super Robot Wars. In particular, the animated series Super Robot Wars Original Generation: The Inspector. And as you can see her mech bears some resemblance to a certain drill-wielding robot so you'll find it somewhat difficult to pierce mah face.
