Yeah, it's been recommended to me from anime-network, for falling in the categories I was looking for.
However it's description doesn't give away anything.

So what can you expect when watching it?

Lots of introspection and Japanese-flavored picaresque journey stuff.

It's about Kino, who goes from one country to the next and learns things about the world.  Profoundly beautiful.  Wasn't so crazy about the animation, but despite only seeing it once, I still consider it one of the best things I've ever seen.

Just... go watch the first episode.  It will only cost you 20 minutes of your life, and everyone wants you to.

Yeah, I'd say you can discuss manga here.  I don't think anyone should mind.

And uh... have you seen Higurashi no Naku Koro ni?  Seems to fit the categories, even if it's rather different.

The drama and psychological aspects, which get mentioned on the site, are the ones that interest me most.
However there's nothing to be found in the description there.

I'll do that tomorrow.
Alrhough with most anime you need to watch 3-4 episodes before you can judge, if it's something for you.

Darker than Black season 2 was awesome, I have no idea how people can bad mouth it.  Especially when all of the episodes are connected this time.

From what I hear, people liked it less because it didn't focus on Hei as much as the first season.
I still need to watch it sometime, I absolutely loved season 1.

Every episode has plenty of Hei.  The only one I can think of where you only see a glimpse of him is episode 1.
