It has a plot the whole way through. It just doesn't make any sense the first time you watch it. I've rewatched more than any other anime, because it's deceptively complex and also wacky. And short. And Mamimi <3

So, GAINAX is doing Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt. As an anime.

I'm not sure what's more troublesome: That the innuendo borders on soft-core porn, or that it's freaking awesome.

Take all of the silly-awesome moments of Gurren Lagann, apply an art style similar to the Powerpuff Girls or Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, switch the artstyle between that and a more traditional (although high-quality) anime style, and throw in blatant punches to the face of NSFW.

The plot is basically that Panty and Stocking are sisters who are also angels that came down to the world to help Daten city. The head-priest guy Garterbelt, black guy with a huge afro, finds clues on "ghosts" that try to destroy the city. The girls have to go out and take them down.
Although both of them are angels, Panty is pretty much a slut and Stocking is a goth who eats delicious sweets constantly.

Mileage May Vary, but if you're a fan of TTGL I'd say there's a pretty good chance of becoming a fan of P&SwG.

Alright guys, I was just putting it out there. I do frequent the thread but there was a good span of a month or so when I wasn't on the forums. I also haven't seen any P&SwG discussions (unless I somehow missed it way back when).

It's also not like I haven't been in this thread before. I've discussed plenty of things. Way to be weirdly judgmental of me. =/
