DBZ abridged reinstated Nappa as my favourite character.

When Freiza and Goku only have 5 more minutes to fight. There are still more then 5 episodes left in the fight.

It doesn't matter though how many episodes it has (and goodness is Hitman Reborn horrible in terms of over inflated seasons) it is that very little actually happens between episodes.

Though my check is 33-32 episodes long

That's nothing... Captain Tsubasa beats DBZ by a loooong way. It's the first anime about football I saw as a kid. It takes them at least five episodes to take the ball from one side to another, where the main character pulled his leg back to prepare for his best move, and not until four more episodes later did he actually take the shot. Sometimes they spend three episodes in mid-air.

I've seen most of Yu-Gi-Oh abridged and DBZ abridged.  Almost all abridged series are garbage made by someone who thinks it's funny for fame.

I thought Yugioh abridged was pretty good. The only other one I've seen was Berserk abridged which wasn't. You're right though, I remember when there was a whole flood of abridged series that didn't have any jokes. It was like people realized for the first time that you could redub anime series. Except DBZ had gotten that treatment forever.

I almost made a Vandread gag dub once. Mostly because I'm still pissed for having watched that.

Well, Requiem of the Golden Witch has been mostly stuff I expected so far wrapped up in easy to solve cryptic pieces.  Hmm, it's almost like I'm not being trolled here.  Better not let my guard down.

Although I must say this is taking genre savvyness to ridiculous levels.
