Well lets put it this way

When Freiza and Goku only have 5 more minutes to fight. There are still more then 5 episodes left in the fight.

It doesn't matter though how many episodes it has (and goodness is Hitman Reborn horrible in terms of over inflated seasons) it is that very little actually happens between episodes.

Though my check is 33-32 episodes long

Dragon Ball Z was my favorite show when I was a kid, I'd throw a tantrum if I missed an episode.

That was my point. Doing a marathon of them would be boring as hell because that's like a ten hour fight scene. With talking, and powering up, and very little action. It would just be better to read the manga.

Yeah, exactly.  I personally haven't been able to sit through an episode since I was in high school.  I haven't enjoyed watching one since I was in 3rd grade.

Enjoying Iono the Fanatics but it's complete bullshit that the second volume wasn't released. The second of two! Come on guys you could have finished the series.

How many chapters is that up to now? I think it was 35 or 36 when I stopped reading.

I'd recommend DBZ abridged actually... I think I like it a lot more than the original.  Although the abridged has only gotten as far as the Ginyu force, but still.
