I watched Cordo something something (a instrument playing anime) a long while ago

What bugs me is that the ending is supposed to be ambiguous but with a bit of logic you can pretty much figure it out

The guy with the Flute obviously wins... He has always done a solid performance (always at least making third) and even got into the top spot with a spetacular performance. He is also the ONLY one of the group who hasn't got a score of 0 if I remember correctly. As long as he doesn't mess up he should win. Why is it a mystery who won? How much of a farce is the scoring system? I know they set it up so even someone who got a score of 0 can still win but honestly what sort of insane scoring system are they using where someone who does just shy of greatness, and does one score of greatness, never getting a single 0 loses?

Ok I GUESS in theory they could be using a scoring system where they only take someone's top marks or by using the placement system. Though in that case the Violin guy would take the victory easily. Though honestly wouldn't that be something they show? (They intentionally try not to show you how the scoring system works)

Ok this frustrates me... What is their scoring system? I guess it is ambiguous (sort of...) if they use a character's placement... (making it a competition between three competators)

Nevermind it is Ambiguous by being rather vague.

Score: Flute
Top Scores: Violin
Placement: Violin, Piano, and Flute (Unless the Flute guy made 2nd more then I remember... in which case the Flute Guy)

Anyone else seen a Less then ambiguous ending that tries to make itself seem like a total mystery?

This is why I will never watch One Piece.

Maybe I'm just a masochist, but I'm up for the challenge. I'm already on episode 30, and going at a casual pace. I'm watching it in story sections (sometimes 3 episode segments (like the first Buggy encounter lasted up to 6 episodes), other times up to 10). Speaking of which, what's the largest of these segments I should look out for?
