One Piece is almost over?!?  Holy jegus that's crazy.

Where did you hear this "almost over" business? I thought Oda described the current (anime) arc as around halfway. Which is really a more boggling statement than it ending if you ask me. But it just keeps getting more awesome so I ain't bitching I guess.

Ok, seeing as it's nearly over.

DOES HAWKEYE HAVE THE FUCKING CUT-CUT FRUIT OR WHAT!?

Pretty sure he's just Badass Normal to the point of ridiculousness (like Zoro2 or something).

Did you guys know that Satoshi Kon died just very recently?
No more Paprikas for us.

Well for what it's worth I personally cared about the news.

I made a thread about it too.

Ok this just happened... I was watching Hitman Reborn (UGH that anime is SLOOOOW) and the two female leads basically demand that they be allowed to help the main characters

They said no so the girls went "Why not"

and someone said "Because this is manly man stuff that only men can do"

and I honestly went "Are you honestly going to accept that?"

The girls went "Ok"

and I banged my head on my desk

HONESTLY Japan?
It... does seem to come up a lot, doesn't it?  I mean, just recently I choked on this line:

I'm up to FMA:B ep 25. Since the first OP/EP change at ep 14, the show has been in decline. Hoping it gets better. Also, why do fight scenes in the OP never actually seem to show up in the actual show?

Some things just seem childish. Ex, the freaking chibipanda.
Also characters say the stupidest things.
I never would have imagined there was a [large sewer] under the capital.
Your father is in central?
Seriously, cities have sewers and powerful people mostly reside in the capital... get some brains -_-.

It's a tradition.

My biggest downtime I think for FMA:B is episode 29-36ish.

Not least favorite, just a slower pace.

Pace isn't my problem, its just everything feels a little... obvious. I guess thats why I don't watch too much shonen.

So. Hulu has 'Super Dimension Fortress Macross' available for viewing. I have been watching this, and rather enjoying it, despite some cringe-worthy 'character development' moments. But this one scene in episode six, at about 18:40 into it, had me laughing so hard it hurt. The thing with the trackballs...just go watch it. I'm not sure if it's 'so bad it's horrible' or 'so bad it's good.' But it's...something.

I think all of them did?  I mean, certainly the last OP shows all the major fights in that segment.

Some things just seem childish. Ex, the freaking chibipanda.

It swings back and forth.  Gets less childish later on when the main storyline kicks in.

I never would have imagined there was a [large sewer] under the capital.

Ambiguous timesetting, I guess.  And I think the central comment was more in surprise that he was so close?

I specifically was refering to fights on a bridge V. lust & gluttony in the first OP,

HONESTLY Japan?
For the same reason that we didn't have female soldiers in the 1800's.

Because seeing females screaming and trying to hold their innards in is apparently bad for morale.

Except some animes where that seems to be their main form of "Entertainment"... >_>

Anyone else notice that a lot of female characters scream in pain in an odd way?
